Thanks man! I can't get WMP to open up on my pc and I did have VLC so I gave it a try with 1 track off my CD. Didn't think it worked because VLC window didn't light up green at the top but later I checked my music folder and it was there! Playback was flawless. 😁 👍👍👍
Man. One track at a time? That's brutal!!!! Windows media player is a much better option. Reddit suggests EAC but who the heck uses FLAC format? And the option to convert to MP3 is garbage just like VLC.
Nice vid. I'm new to this, but as a music publisher, I need to turn 2 complete albums/CDs (20 songs total/10 per CD) into mp3. (Original music of course). Here are my questions (they may be stupid) Do I have to have a separate file for each song, or can I put all 10 songs into a single file? Am I able to label each song before ripping & converting? Will I be able to email these songs to 1 of my email accounts? (I had a guy who used to do thus for me, then he would email me the mp3 of each song. Sadly he's nowhere to be found. Hope he's okay, frfr) So I'm trying my hand at this. I've got the recording, mastering, burning the CDs down. But this is something I know absolutely nothing about (like I say, had a guy who used to do this) I'm getting a different computer as my NEW Chromebook didn't allow this, it didn't even recognize my External CD/DVD Driver. (So I got my $$$ back). I know my newest (actually used but new to me) computer can do these things. I'm going to install the Linux Ubuntu 20.04 OS & the VLC Media player, so I'm certain it will work.(gots a few folks screaming at me). Any way thank you for this video, & I hope you can help me. To answer your questions in order, 1)You can actually do either a separate file for each song or you can put them all into a single file. This is accomplished @6:09. 2)You can label each song after converting. However, if you want to label before ripping, you would have to do each song separately and that would take some time. 3)As long as the files aren't too large, you should be able to email as many songs as you need to any email account. If you need any further assistance, click on the "HELP" button and then click on the "HELP" button(F1) in VLC Media player. Hope this helps.

Glad it worked out for you. I don't even use WMP anymore because it just didn't seem to want to work for me either.
