I agree with everything you've said about nyc. Living in the city has made me more certain about my beliefs and who I am, but going home does make me more conscious of how I dress or speak bc I don't wan to stick out. Anyways, I loved this video and your perspective on things!

Im currently listening to this video while studying for my statistics exam . I'm glad you talked about how you moved to NYC. I really want to move there for a bit because it is such a key place for fashion and fine art but the steps to achieve this goal of affording to live in NYC I dont know yet. this video gave me some perspective!

I feel the whole conforming as to what i wear I'm in different situations. I live in chicago, but even when I visit my family in the suburbs, I always think twice about what I'm wearing - which stinks! But glad to know I'm not alone in that, and it doesn't mean I am any less than because I fall guilty to that.

Just binge watching your video. I really like your videos, I'm hooked. Oh, I can totally relate. I come from a super small village in the Netherlands and I went to the city when I started studying. I notice the difference between living in a big city and in a small village. I feel you. When I dress differently it's more noticable in the village than in the city. I like the freedom the city offers, nobody cares about what you do or the way you look. Just wanted to share this with you. 🤗
can you do a brooklyn apartment tour /chat about why you chose that space/rent/pros and cons etc? i just moved to manhattan to an itty bitty apartment and have been exploring the idea of living in brooklyn more for the sake of better space for the price. just a thought! love ur vids and love ur farming dream

As someone who's seen friends give up on their college degrees to only focus on becoming a singer/youtuber/move director, my advice to you is stay focused on your degree. And do TH-cam second, because I have seen close friends not do as well in life because they put 100% of their lives into something and then don't have a back up plan.

Wow the last part of your video is totally how I feel in Berlin. There (my new home since 3 years) I am also wearing what I want and kind of do what I want etc and when I am back at my family´s place I feel I have to fit in kind of and behave there differently and shouldn´t be wearing items I would back in Berlin. I completely understand that struggle! But I think it´s okay and normal to act everywhere a little bit different.. maybe some places open up different sides of ourselfs, you know? Or close ;)
