(also babies talk at birth, and labor only takes like 5 min and is only slightly uncomfortable for the woman)

OMG the Hypochondriac thing- that's me. My partner and I are trying to conceive, and I swear every little thing sets me off. I have a craving, I'm pregnant! I am super hungry half an hour after I ate, I'm pregnant! I have constipation, gas, nausea, heartburn, weird dreams- I'm pregnant! And then every negative test I take is like a huge punch in the gut. It's only been three months so I'm still hopeful! Good luck to us all TTC!!

This video really took a big weight off of my shoulders. Sometimes I don't realize that many other women have these problems too. Me and my boyfriend have been trying for a year now and still no baby. It's just very stressful when his friends say "when are you guys going to have a baby?" Or "you guys should have a baby". They don't know how hard it is to have a child. It doesn't always happen right away. It also doesn't help to have so many people around me pregnant or already having a child but I would never want to take away their excitement.
This. is. exactly. true! (TTC for 18 months) Especially the TWW hypochondriac trend, the PMS vs pregnancy symptoms, and wanting your nipple to turn purple if you are pregnant to take the guess work out of it.
The struggle is so friggin real, currently trying with my person. Our biggest struggle is that period cycle is not in anway regular and just when the month is almost over and the two of us are like "COULD IT BE?" and then life slaps us right in the face.

When it's so difficult to get pregnant, how come that women have unprotected sex once and unintentionally get pregnant? That seems to happen pretty often
Most of the statistics are hyped up to create more of a conversation and make it seem like it's a huge epidemic. You'll always hear conservative Christians going off about teen pregnancy, but you'll never hear that a majority of those teen pregnancies are in states that are strongly conservatively Christian and only teach abstinence and not safe sex. Similarly, you won't hear much about couples who have difficulty getting pregnant, but you'll hear a lot about unwanted pregnancies to fuel the pro-choice/pro-birth talks.
Biologically, it IS kind of difficult to get pregnant because a woman can get pregnant only a few days a month... you would have to have unprotected sex in those specific days + actually conceive. Also keep in mind that sometimes women have other problems like not ovulating regulary, incompatibility with their partners, or organ problems that won't let them carry a child to term. My mom had me at the age of 39 with a decade of trying and a dozen of medical treatments before it happened, IT WAS HARD, REALLY HARD... and many women go through this.
because no one is like "yey I forgot the condom and didnt get pregnant!!" and talks about it while a random girl gets pregnant and all the family and friends are talking about it

It seemed like everyone around me was pregnant or had a baby and it was one of the hardest things that I've dealt with. Fast forward 10 years and we have an amazing, healthy 9 year old son! ❤

It sucks that when a 17 year old girl has sex ONCE and gets pregnant and doesn't want a baby, but a couple who has been trying for YEARS can't. I wish there was a thing where you could like automatically transfer a pregnancy or something so that those babies that aren't really wanted can actually grow up in a loving home and the birth mother won't have to go through birth.
My husband and I kept trying for a baby for 4 months straight, I ended finding out I was pregnant in November 2017 but ended losing our baby at 7 weeks. I was so upset especially cause two of my friends ended pregnant around the same time as me but my baby was gone 😢 so we stopped trying so hard and an amazing thing happened! I was born with a heart condition. At the age of 16 I found out how bad my heart was doing and made the decisions I will not pass on the disease. After some drama I got approved for a hysterectomy. It saved my life in the long run as my blood pressure was no longer bottoming out making me borderline unconscious. Now that I wasn't bleeding my heart wasn't so stressed. It pushed out time before I HAD to get a transplant. Babies after transplants are soo dangerous and it's driving me crazy that people are risking there lifes by not talking transplant medication so they can have a baby.etc. I have so many feelings on this topic. I am currently pregnant and it took us five years to conceive naturally. Everything you said is true especially the jealousy part. I was always so happy for my friends and family when they announced their pregnancies, but I was also sad for myself. Looking back I have been able to see God’s plan and how now is the perfect time for us. So much has happened in the five years that have brought us to this time of stability. By “if you stop trying it’ll happen” they mean exactly what you mentioned earlier in the video. Ttc makes things mechanical and just not fun. Once you let go of tracking and planning, is usually when it happens. They don’t mean stop having sex.
We have been trying for several months now and haven't had any success. It's kind of frustrating because I had an easy time conceiving in my 20's and now that I am 31 and with the love of my life it hasn't happened yet.

It sucks that when a 17 year old girl has sex ONCE and gets pregnant and doesn't want a baby, but a couple who has been trying for YEARS can't. I wish there was a thing where you could like automatically transfer a pregnancy or something so that those babies that aren't really wanted can actually grow up in a loving home and the birth mother won't have to go through birth.

My husband and I kept trying for a baby for 4 months straight, I ended finding out I was pregnant in November 2017 but ended losing our baby at 7 weeks. I was so upset especially cause two of my friends ended pregnant around the same time as me but my baby was gone 😢 so we stopped trying so hard and an amazing thing happened! I had a miss period in January and yup I was pregnant 😍 my baby boy Is due in two weeks!!! Patience is definitely important!!!!

I got pregnant the first time trying.... and then I misscaried at 12weeks... Any ways someone should make a video making light of all the cliche things ppl say when you miscarry. I know it's a dark subject but buzzfeed can do it and make a bad situation better or better yet let ppl know what not to say.... ei do you think is was your diet? The way you sit? Ect

My boyfriend and I are sure we want kids together but the timing is just not right. We live in a one bedroom apartment and I don't Know if I'm going to school in the fall or not. I'm at 12 weeks and have had period symptoms since the beginning but the cramps and back pain were gone and came back and every little thing is so worrying. I freak out like, why, what is this? Every time. And you can only hope it's normal.

I was born with a heart condition. At the age of 16 I found out how bad my heart was doing and made the decisions I will not pass on the disease. After some drama I got approved for a hysterectomy. It saved my life in the long run as my blood pressure was no longer bottoming out making me borderline unconscious. Now that I wasn't bleeding my heart wasn't so stressed. It pushed out time before I HAD to get a transplant. Babies after transplants are soo dangerous and it's driving me crazy that people are risking there lifes by not talking transplant medication so they can have a baby.etc. I have so many feelings on this topic. We should totally talk

I am currently pregnant and it took us five years to conceive naturally. Everything you said is true especially the jealousy part. I was always so happy for my friends and family when they announced their pregnancies, but I was also sad for myself. Looking back I have been able to see God’s plan and how now is the perfect time for us. So much has happened in the five years that have brought us to this time of stability. My baby girl is due in November and she is kicking me as I type this. Praise God!

By “if you stop trying it’ll happen” they mean exactly what you mentioned earlier in the video. Ttc makes things mechanical and just not fun. Once you let go of tracking and planning, is usually when it happens. They don’t mean stop having sex.
