3:01 that would’ve been a great mechanic for the time! And fairly simple to just have Pierre say “I’ll push this switch and then you go climb to the top of the room and push that block” then to keep the rivalry, they make Pierre dash in a door ahead of Lara and the next puzzle she does even more work while he does the little things. Ultimately betraying her when they finally get to the scion piece.
This video made me realize why the explosion in the into of TR happens. I competed the game as a kid and the remake a few months ago, still didn't understand until now.
I expected you to spew out a list that I already know of like most TH-camrs. But my gosh you are a gem. There were many things I didn’t know. Edit As for Leon, he got drunk when his gf broke up with him in the first game he appeared in so maybe having him slurping alcohol in the movies might not be too far fetched.
Thank you so much! Yeah, I always forget about that detail on Leon's backstory. I think the movie hits different to me because I actually see it happen.
I've been following this channel for more than a couple/few years now. I have probably missed out on alot and I regret it! Thanks for always making so much interesting content ❤ I can't wait for the Remasters 4-6. It will be interesting to see what they do with AOD. I am so happy they are giving it the attention it needs. Although regarded as a "bad" game, it's one of my favorites lol
Watching some of the old James Bond films this week, I noticed Thunderball in particular contained a lot of elements that the classic Tomb Raider games were clearly inspired by. The villain in Thunderball sounds exactly like Werner Von Croy for example. But there's also sharks in water, boat action sequences through Venice, harpoon gun weapons, etc.
That information comes from the book "The Making of the Tomb Raider". It was said by the team who made the game. It is very common for the cutscenes to have mistakes. If you check the windows during gameplay they all have the same shape, but in the cutscene they have different shapes.
Yeah, we affectionately (for the British anyway) call him David "Calamity" James for his blunders! I'm only grateful it wasn't an international game, although, I am sorry it was for Liverpool, shame it wasn't Man U.... although, he never played for them, I don't think... And you can actually own a gun in the UK, but it takes a lot of hassle and even then you can't have anything more than a 9mm!
I also have facts videos for each game! You can check them on this youtube playlist: th-cam.com/video/i4e3P4naeAg/w-d-xo.html
the fact that they thought that her hair were too iconic while changing her so drastically,,,

I also just understood it recently :)

1:23 Wow, I had no idea about this, either! In fact, there's a lot in your videos I never heard of! Keep up the good work, please and thank you!
Thank you!
This is actually very well made!
❤❤❤ love this video!! Thank you!!! You should make one for each game. Even though this probably covers most.
Thank you! I already have those videos :) You can check them here: th-cam.com/video/i4e3P4naeAg/w-d-xo.html

1:23 i think it's not the same window her room is on left side so that window in cutscene is topside of enterence
They mention in the book that the intention was that. Not being the same window could be just a mistake, since things back then weren't very logic.
Wow you really gave new facts that I had no idea about, please keep these videos coming
Wow. I did not know most of this!
Your videos are good you got new sub
Thank you!

Thank you 🧡
Can you please talk about cut content from shadow and rise because not many videos about them
It's really hard to find information about them, but if I do, I will make a video :)
@@Ariquel thank you
1:26 sorry, but this is NOT the same window. The cutscene ends on the hall window, and Lara is facing the book room window.
