Dear TWS Mark P. Don't you think that this big shiny bumper looks absolutely fantastic just like it is (without any holes at all)? Please kindly allow me to suggest, that you give it another look respectively watch the end of your great video. Thx Sincerely yours.
Mark, the bumper looks great;HOWEVER, I have always believed that customer service separates the men from the boys. I would rate that company in the "infant" stage. You ordered it with the holes for the lights and it didn't come with the holes. Strike one. The kit was supposed to include the mounting hardware. It didn't. Strike two. The bumper took eight months to get to you. Strike three. In my book, I would contact the manufacturer and ask them to refund the purchase price to you. If they don't, I would just let all your viewers know who the company is. That may not be In your makeup, personally, but if you don't hold their feet to the fire, they will continually "under serve" their customers. You may not be able to get any help on your problem, but you could save others a lot of grief. Just a thought. Like I said, the bumper looks great. Thanks for my Thursday Twinsticks fix!
I'll play devils advocate, seems they laid everyone off and its one or two guys just shipping whatever they can - I bet they haven't answered the phone in months/weeks as its all pissed off customers calling. Still no excuse to send out the wrong parts, I am surprised it even fit.
Hey Mark, there are companies that will cut the holes for the lights where you need them in that chrome bumper using a water jet feature I've had a similar situation with a factory bumper and this technique blew my mind it looked not only factory when they were through but it was perfect without a flaw and i was able to finish my project but if would go after that company for a full refund of the purchase price on that bumper
If you cut chromed bumpers you'll watch them rust from the cut in days depending on how shit the base metal is (and these days, unless you specify exactly what you want, you won't get the real thing).
If it were me I would be sending it back it looks like there are some small dents at the bottom edge of the bumper too ( you can see them when you first opened the box and took the wrap off) always disheartening when you dont get the right part sent out. If that was me it would bug me constantly and I would end up having to send it back again. Also I wouldnt drive it without the lower support on the bumper as it WILL flex and ultimately you could end up with protruding dents from the hidden bolt heads. It looks great fitted but I wouldnt be happy with it. As usual though Mark thanks for keeping my spirits up I always look forward to Twinsticks Thursday, you help to keep me motivated during this bad time with my mental and physical health.
This is the first time on this channel. I always want to drive semi. The biggest thing I got to drive Chevy C-65 grain truck. Good luck rebuild snowman truck. Like the music!
It's not the end of the world. I have a 86 ford f250 I got 4/1/2 in hole cutter cutout holes in my bumper to put train signal lights they are 4 inch bought the semi trailer light boots pressed them in hooked em up measure your lights walla they work have to adapt and overcome sometimes. It will work out buddy. Keep on trucking. Have a good day. God bless.
If you have a Fab shop around your area see if they can cut out your lights with a water jet cutter. But it looks beautiful. Be safe and keep up the good work ❤️❤️❤️👍👍
It’s not complaining when you bought and paid for something and it’s not what you ordered . All to often do we order things and it’s short mounting hardware. It sure looks awesome Mark , another great job done .
Mum Twinsticks comes through again, what a star. It looks stunning. Well done for keeping it together getting the old one off. I'd have got the grinder out, and the bumper would've left via the window 😂
Hey Mark keep that bumper it looks better whit no holes and if you paint that truck in your shop the paint going to get everywhere you will be cleaning for year’s have fun.
Hey Mark great video! There are a lot of really good Canadian companies making bumpers and other stainless parts that would go above and beyond to make sure that you received the product you ordered. Also I would say in my experience the quality is much better. shoot me a PM if you want some more info.
i emailed big rig chrome shop tailing them to get ahold of you and make right so probaly go no where but i tried lol have good day sir 10-10 on the side
Mark, great looking bumper. A real shame the supplier didn't follow your instructions. As others have said, there must be an engineering shop that could modify it for you. It's more expense, but you've already waited 8 months for it. You could probably get the brackets made too. Loving the channel. Mike from Lancashire 🇬🇧
Sorry to say ,as nice as it looks I'm Glad you told us who the are" BIG RIG CHROME SHOP." If they'r going to charge a pretty penny for that bling they BETTER get it right! I will use them as a last resort for my project now. Thanks again for letting me know who they are.
Good on them for wanting to show great customer support. Lets see what they can come up with for you Marc because you have time on your side so getting them to replace it correctly is the right way to go.
One of the hardest things to do was turning my sound up and down everything you walked away from the camera mic. The new sound mic you have is awesome. Thank you for doing that
I ordered a custom bumper from California for my 94 Freightliner Cabover in April and they said 4 to 6 weeks ?? I got it in mid November around 7 months !! I will say I ordered fog/road light cut outs and hole to hook up to tow pin and a set of chrome bolts and everything came through perfect !! I feel your pain about no road lights as they not only look good but work great but who wants to wait longer after 8 months !! It looks great the way it is. John Taylor
The bumper looks great Mark, LBL is really starting to shine even without paint. Myself I would have shipped the bumper back, I believe a person should get what they pay for, but I respect your decision. Have a great week my friend see you on the next one
Hey Mark. LBL’s really coming on 🙂 You could not have captured the character and humility of the folks from your homeland better with, “Man, that sucks! Great quality though…” 😉😁 I kid because I care 🙂 Great work as always, fella 🙂
Are you heading to Ottawa this week?! It would be great for your channel..... great stuff! I love the mechanical stuff/ how you persevere through challenges with your build. I would also like to see videos if/ when you rebuild your engines! And always why!... take care.
Music request - some good Canada boys, maybe Corb Lund & Tom Connors. Dont get me wrong, i absolutely love the music now. But i love listening to your voice & accent too. Its like a vacation to the great white north, eh? Sorry, i cracked myself up with that. 🤣🤣 A Texas viewer
Hi Mark, that bumper sure looks nice. But like you I would be disappointed with their incompetence in not getting it right for you! I would be having some colourful conversations with them 🤬🤬cheers.🇦🇺🇦🇺
Mark you are just a good trusting soul. I would rip that piece of crap off my pride & joy, throw it in the junk pile and tell them to come pick up their crap and get your money back. They don’t care to even check that the freaking bolts are in the box after waiting 8 months! They obviously do not care about their customers! I’m so sorry that an American company has such horrible disregard for there customers. This video really made me mad! Please keep up the great work, I look forward to your videos every week!
I love how you keep your cool all the time. The trucks are all amazing they remind me of the ones I had when I started trucking. Keep up the good work.
Nevermind the “crying too much” about the bumper mistake, that bs happens way to often and we all let it slide way too often. You paid money expecting one thing and got something else. Still looks sweet regardless.
You always can take the blueprint to a machine shop and have a machine inserts where you put the lights in if I cost them on the lab done but they won't damage the bumper
Just got a phone call from the Big Rig Chrome Shop and they want to make this right so maybe I’ll get to install those Perlux lights after all 👍
well thats good to hear. hopefully you get your lights and your missing brackets. great video

Awesome deal, good to know there are still companies that have good customer service
Sure hope they don’t make it right by sending you a 6” drill bit just for “shits and giggles”!!!!🤪 🙄 😁
Wow, talk about screwing up in public.
I would call and get my money back if the company is not going to fix their screw up. Great videos

Well said
Didn't he call out the supplier right at the opening stage? Big Rig Chrome Shop?
@@ruaraidhmcdonald-walker9524, if he did, I missed it. My hearing isn't so great.
@@glengullickson6538 Think he said "NOt happy with you Big Rig Chrome Shop" at 2:22

Hey buddy like the bumper an the trucks keep warm buddy
All the trucks are cool. But L.B.L. is my favorite. That bumper is a beaut. And I see they are going to fix their screw up. So can't wait for it.
Im still thrilled you were able to build your garage every time i see it. An artist deserves a good studio. Keep em coming, mark

I for one think that bumper is PERFECT for the Pete. Just an uninterrupted mirror, I love it.
7 months or not that thing is awesome. Worth the wait I would say.

Yes, if that what it takes on a public platform then they should make it right. Truck looks good.
I love seeing LBL, even when shes not the star of the video. Shesso gorgeous

Get well soon 👊
I know you wanted those lights but my guy...that is one SEXY ass bumper. Chrome never looked sooooo good.
Ole Snowman really is a racing truck! Got a detachable steering wheel and all🤣🤣🤣🤣
Get a leaf blower to "sweep" the shop. Also, handy for drying the trucks after a wash!
I got the idea from you. Your a great inspiration buddy thank you for your wonderful ideas.

you had me on the floor with the "the exhaust gases which are discharged from engines part lmao
snowman's got a healthy engine, thing caught those cylinders really quick
You should get the names of the trucks put on the stall doors some way or another and have each truck it’s own stall. That would be 👌🏽mint!

Heavy tow truck operators everywhere were CRINGING when you popped those front tow hooks off!! OUCH!
Nice bumper Mark👍🏼
Looks awesome, pity about the cut outs missing, that would set it off really well having lights in that bumper.
Good on them for wanting to show great customer support. Lets see what they can come up with for you Marc because you have time on your side so getting them to replace it correctly is the right way to go.
Man those pipes on little by little are bad ass looking!!!❤
Stern fan are we? Love Artie Lang😎
I know you waited 8 months but I would’ve boxed it back up & told them to come & get the SOB. But that’s just me. Take care & stay safe. Cheers
Looks good without lights!
What a difference , it really gives the truck an aggressive look . Really cool.
Yes definitely a beautiful bumper!!! Thanks marks mom!!!!

The microphone makes a massive difference to the quality of the videos its alot better 👌👌
Love the work you have done with old blue cannot wait to see when you finish them all
Hope the company will step up and get you taken care of. Truck is looking great. Keep up the good work.

And wait another 8 months 😑 I may look into getting the holes cut locally 🤔
Welp, never shopping at said chrome shop! 4 state is the way to go. Chrome Shop Mafia
