Back when he can talk in full sentences
These are fascinating to see with the luxury of hindsight. Thanks for posting
Invading Afghanistan in order to get rid of Al Qaida was good, that was done within a year or two. Staying in Afghanistan for 20 years trying to democratize it was just foolish.
The other 9/11…CIA backed Coup in Chile removes their democratically elected President, Salvador Allende, and installs Augusto Pinochet…9/11/73
Always remember.
"The Pakistani's are going to cooperate."
Nope. OBL was hiding in Pakistan.
...and what have we done about things/learned from that day? I say very little.
When CBS still had credibility.

I was born in 2000 so my memories of 911 are close to none. I was a baby in Nicaragua. My mother said she heard the news being talked about in Nicaragua about the terrorist attacks!
I was born in 94, so i remember some things about 9/11. Mostly having breakfast before school while all TV Channels switch to whats happening in NY (at that time we didnt have cable yet). And later that day, the TV was still going on the same thing.
Biden was a whole different person
You're on the correct path.
Just blabbing. No change

This true JRB isn't the one of now.
You called Chuck first? Read Chelseas book. Thought she was walking her dog or some chit right by the Towers?
Chelsea stated in an interview back then that she was standing in line at a phone when she heard a deafening rumble (likely one of the building collapses, not the planes hitting). In other words, between the time she'd left her friend's apartment in Union Square and gone closer to Lower Manhattan, she wasn't reachable by cellphone, either because she wasn't carrying a cellphone, or she was impacted by the cellphone service outage in the area after the attacks and needed to use a payphone. From elsewhere: "Cell towers were destroyed in the attacks, along with switching equipment used for landline phones. But another cause of the problem was the huge surge in traffic from people trying to find loved ones or letting others know they were OK."
