    Stock price is at $37.76 as of this post. You can buy a LEAP - Deep In The Money Call expiring January 19, 2024 with a strike price at $20 for a premium of $18.30.
    Total cost to buy: $18.30 x 100= $1,830
    Break even stock price= $20+$18.30= $38.30 which means the stock price has to rise 1.43% from $37.76 for you to breakeven on the trade. Anything above that is profit.
    1.43% increase until Jan 2024 is totally doable.
    $54 target price - ($20+$18.30)=$15.70 or $1,570 profit that’s almost a 86% ROI versus if you just bought the stock at $37.76 only 30% ROI before dividends.
    I know most people on this channel are looking for dividends but you can use LEAPS to greatly boost your returns safely. And with a higher return take those gains and put them towards other leaps and also dividends.

You are a mind reader.

    Thanks Chuck. Does it look realistic to you that the growth projections will be revised down due to negative subscription figures? Their key business - broadband Internet no longer grows and the streaming requires so much investments to produce contents that some analysts liken it to airlines fearing streaming services will never be able to return value to investors.
    Don't you think these gloomy perspectives justify low multiples?

    • @FASTgraphs
      @FASTgraphs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      In a word no. For example here is MorningStar's take " Comcast’s second quarter was a mixed bag, but the market has keyed in on one negative figure: zero net broadband customer additions during the period, with a loss of 10,000 net residential customers. Very modest broadband growth is likely here to stay; we believe investors are better served focusing on the firm’s ability to generate strong cash flow despite lingering pandemic headwinds and to return that cash to shareholders. Our $60 fair value estimate is unchanged." Nevertheless, do your own research and make your own judgment. regards, Chuck

    • @SpielbaerLP
      @SpielbaerLP 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FASTgraphs Also keep in mind regarding Streaming: These companies like Paramount or Comcast have only just started to built their own streaming services to make money directly of their content library. Of course it will not be profitable from the start but saying it will never earn profit is too shortsighted. That would mean that the movie business itself never earned profits with the whole chain attached to it in form of cinemas or disc sales. They all need to built a huge subscriber amount now which costs money for marketing and special low price offers but in the future these things can be cash machines when they can basically cut out the theatres from the chain and dont need to rely on the production of physical media anymore.

    Still in a downtrend with lower lows and lower highs. It certainly looks attractive here but if the S&P 500 continues to go down, Comcast will likely continue to drop too. Could be a good swing trade in a few days when it becomes oversold. Somewhere around $35-$36/share might be a good entry if we don’t retest the lows on the S&P 500. Sell in the low $40’s.

      Just seems like the company has hit a brick wall with many of its businesses, not saying its never going to grow again but it seems more likely that an earnings report in the next few quarters will be an intel like disaster where everything just starts collapsing. Thats just what my guts telling me. If anything the management does seem competent enough, they have been paying down debt slowly and buying shares back i believe. These value trap stocks just keep going down even when you think youve bought near bottom.
