    I own TATA Tigor petrol and TATA Altroz diesel both cars are highway kings. In Altroz diesel I tested 180 KPH with full confidence including lane changes in the blink of an eye. I previously owned Punto diesel, and I am delighted with Altroz diesel which replaced Punto without regret. I always say Maruti's and Hyundai bye in freeways because the handling and steering feedback is so nice in Tata cars, the rival brand drivers try but fail miserably post 130 KPH in the high high-speed contest. I presume this is due to a lack of handling and confidence from the chassis though they have better engine response. The weight and aerodynamic design of Altroz add up in high-speed driving, and cornering becomes confident due to the lowered height and hard suspension in Altroz. In other words, if you are truly enthusiastic on highways and freeways tata cars don't disappoint you. If you are thinking of city driving other brands may have an edge.

      Perfect explanation, I had once smoked and dusted a Kia Seltos on Mumbai-Pune highway, he was with me till 125-130 post that he just was not able to cut through and gap the cars and I was flying with my Altroz Diesel, by the time I realised he was long gone left behind I had touched 190 with 4 friends in car and luggage in boot meaning a fully loaded car with AC on (I own an August 2020 Altroz Diesel)

      You are correct i20 has a 3 cylinder turbo and even that too has some noise, but Hyundai engine is refined than this. Fit and Finish is top class in Hyundai, even power output is better. Rest all good in Tata, be it safety, handling and steering response Tata is way better.

      @@VikasJaink you are correct, hyundai i20 turbo is refined but only after it is warm enough, in cold start this tgdi engine of hyundai in emits that 'krrrrrr.....' sound for about 10 to 15 minutes after which it becomes smooth. I drive my cousin's venue tgdi, that's why I know. In hillies it suffers huge turbo lag before 2000rpm because of smaller stroke as it is a 999cc. I found nexon turbo petrol has slightly better low end in hills.

    I have altroz na petrol bs6 phase 2... Such a satisfying machine for me..... It's been a year .. not a single issue as such... In my area service centre is also good...... It may have not that much outride acceleration.... But it does manage to do 0-100 in 14 sec... And the dynamics are supreme... ❤️❤️❤️❤️ ... Such handling is just phenomenal compared to it's rivals..... But i agree maruti baleno has better acceleration and better NVH level......

    Whats with the ugly garish orange color on the inside?
    It's like Tata team had clear instructions to uglyfy the Altroz as much as humanly possible and they succeded quite well.
    As an owner of single color Altroz XZ, the car was very well made and looks very good (albeit with minor issues with the fit and finish).
    This racer version is just ugly inside out.
