The base sure makes it look like piled snow and the nose on the snowman with a light is a nice touch , I never thought a snowman would turn out this good.

I'll be off to the lumber yard for some 8/6inch board. Then you said 7.30pm.,problem is you only made one,guaranteed you'll need another 5 before next week. Beautiful affect with the burning and wash. Hot Glue gun ,nightmare🤣😇

Interesting, I do the same, I always seem to have a few half finished carvings waiting for inspiration.
The last one I had setting by the computer next to my bed, woke up at like 3am to go to the bathroom, came back, picked up the knife and finished it without ever conciously deciding too. I think it came out. I have a tooki bird thing setting on a power supply (he already has 'hook over the edge' magnetic feet). He's bee there an awful long time. There's 3 wood spirits needing something as well.
Like the snowman, gotta give em a try. I have some wood that would work well, too hard to knife carve, just got a couple Saburrtooth buzzouts and love em for shaping edges like these. Fun to run em in the Foredom, but man, does the dust go everywhere. I really need to build a collector like yours.

Just keep doing what you are doing so well Jordy, we all have problems they just get solved when they get solved you just have to take each one and do them when you can, you are so capable, you show us your life and the troubles you had after your accident and we understand and sympathise. You just did wonderful Christmas goods and the problem there is, are we going to be able to enjoy Christmas this year, answer probably not if we want to stay healthy!!! This problem will go away when COVID is dead, which could take a long time. So Jordy this is your Doctor telling you that if you worry you will die, if you don,t worry you will die, so don’t worry, That will be $50 please, HaHaHa.
