I love Jordy, he’s honest, friendly and Frank. He’s inspiration and his point about not caring what people think and just have fun with it is encouraging!❤️

Whats good Jordy. Did a buncha roofing too, mostly Asphalt/build up (HOT ), and quite a bit of rubber roofing. When I started @ 17-18, it seemed like the best way to get a tan and earn some doe. I already had a kick ass tan by the end of april, the chicks dug that too. LOL

Maybe just a little green moss under the shroom and in a few spots around the rocks? I don't know. Do you. Hi Jordy.

Great attitude, just have fun. How true is that, to many so called experts telling us what is wrong and what is right with our hobbies. If you mess it up just go and have more fun looking for more wood to carve, fun all day long! beautiful piece of wood on the main structure, the water test bringing it back to life, and the joy in your voice when seeing it just tells us all how much fun you had doing it. The first of your vids I have seen and I had fun watching it, what a great teacher you would be for all the kids and adults alike, just have fun kids! loved it. Good luck in your recovery Jordy in what must of been a massive life changing accident, I say this to you as someone who lost his father in a work accident many years ago, so know what an impact it can have. good luck and thank you.

Gotta admit, I’d never thought of carving shrooms before but they’d look great in my garden. Gonna fill the place up with them now so, if the wife starts kicking off, I’ll just blame you Jordy 🤣. Seriously though, thanks for the inspiration buddy!

Definitely put the quarts in the roof coming down. That would look cool. It's already rocking dude. I agree about the flock. I used it on my mushrooms

You should do small pockets of moss and a mix of the natural and wet look like the way you just did by spraying the inside looking good Jordy ☘

I have ulnar nerve damage in my left hand so carving is difficult for me but I love a challenge. I have been carving for over a year now and you inspire and encourage me so much. I've had pretty good luck . I have carved a few spoons, children's toys, rings, a sea turtle for my daughter ,and a dogwood beautiful dogwood tree flower for my husband's birthday, Pocket love tokens... etc I started it as a therapy as well. Tragedy and loss has been very prevalent for the past 2 years. Emotional I needed an outlet, physically I needed it for my hand...it has been a journey and I look forward to your next video!!!

Love it Jordy. I love the colors of that wood, but a little green in strategic places may make it pop! If you have gnome that has color, even better. So, I vote for just a little green. Man! I just found a burl floating in river while fishing and it’s now in the garage drying.
Btw - I’m also in the market for a gently used paint brush and left over paint. Willing to pay $20,000,000. Any ideas? He he.

I'm wondering if you have a pic of what your burl looked like before you started working on it. You have such great imagination....this piece is going to be phenomenal! I'm also wondering if a micro unit might be easier on my wrists. I have found quite a love in carving, but my hands aren't what they used to be. Just retired a year ago, and not near ready to quit this!! I currently have a Dremel 4000. Your thoughts?
