Not to mention, the lead producer on Alto Knights is Irwin Winkler, who also produced Goodfellas, Raging Bull, The Irishman, as well as a great number of other crime classics from the 70s onward. So yeah, basically all the talent that was invested into helping Martin Scorsese make his films is also being invested into this movie.
Berry Levinson and Martin Scorsese are very good friends in real life, as are Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese; also Brian DePalma, Francis Coppola, George Lucas, William Friedkin, etc.
He’s teaming up with Al Pacino next and Brandon Fraser, and they’re making a movie on the Kennedy assassination and the producers are Sam Giancana’s great nephew.
He doesn’t have the same name power like Scorsese or Spielberg, but he’s made great and iconic films like Diner, The Natural, Good Morning Vietnam, Rain Man, and Wag The Dog
And its probably the final mafia movie he'll be in. I was only a teenager and not as into movies as I am now when Goodfellas and Casino came out, it'll be cool to be able to see a De Niro mafia movie in the actual theater. I did see Al Pacino in Donnie Brasco in the theater though.

And the guy who parked the cars out front? You guessed it: Bobby De Niro. The best part was, they all had that same look-that smirk, that squint, that way of saying everything without saying a word. Every time you turned around, there was another Robert De Niro, doing what Robert De Niro does best: running the show. And I wanted to be just like them.

He was GREAT in 'Killers of the Flower Moon' a different sort of 'Criminal Boss' just a Very Greedy man who did not care one bit for the Native Americans he killed for their Land Rights. But what made it so unique for me was he wasn't very smart at all! A bungling man who put no real thought into things and the only reason he was able to commit such horrible crimes and build up so much wealth for so long without being caught was that NO-ONE cared about what happened to the Native Americans until the F.B.I. became involved.
