Always figured it was just a matter of how much the machine had been played prior to my personal session. But I only play more old school machines since I don’t have the bankroll for the ones that expect you to play those enormous $5, $10 or more max bets. Love the happy trio!
the number of times the machine is being played does not matter. each spin is an individual event, the machine doesnt know what has happened before and doesnt know what will come next. the RNG in the programming is totally random. if you want more info, go check youtube channel ''cowboys slots''. they do in depth explanation of how a machine works, they're both slot technicians.
I'm pretty sure Jacob knows the outcome of each spin is controlled by a random number generator, so each spin's outcome s determined by the fraction of second when the spin button is hit. The 2 winning sessions could have been losing sessions if the button was hit at different times. The only way to give yourself better odds on a slot machine is to find and ply the ones that have lot of credits banked, like the ones that bank gold coins in one or more containers before paying out. 2 of my favorite banking slots were Diamond Mine and the several variations of Wild Cherry Pie. Looking at the screens of these last 2 you could tell when they were close to paying out the banked credits. The modern banking slots that bank gold coins, you never know when they are going to pay out those banked credits. Cherry Pie & Diamond Mine you have a really good idea when the banked credits will pay out.
The cherry pie machine pictured a pie tin and would fill up one of the 9 sections, left, center and right sections of the top, middle and bottom lines. Playing 1 credit per spin would place 1 cherry into one of the 9 sections when one landed on the screen, playing 2 would add 2 cherries in the pie tin section the cherry landed in, and playing 3 would add 3 cherries to the section that each cherry showing up on the reels landed in. I think there were 6 cherries needed to fill each of the 9 sections. So you could tell how close you were to the banked credits in the pit tin paying out. Also, if the section in which a cherry landed in there was a separate container that banked those credits. That banked credits container could grow very high, I saw it in the hundreds a few times, which is a nice payout in addition to the 54 credits from the pie tin when you fill it, especially on a dollar machine.
The diamond mine machine showed 3 chutes above the spinning reels. You got diamonds to go into the chutes by them landing on the payline in the left, center or right area. If you bet 1 credit, 1 diamond would be added to the chute, 2 bet would add 2 diamonds to the left, right or center chute if a diamond landed in that area of the payline and 3 credits bet would add 3 diamonds to the chute above the section of the payline when a diamond landed on that section of the payline.
Have seen both in quarters, dollars and even 5 dollar machines all over Atlantic City and Las Vegas, but that was years and years ago. I think they were both IGT machines, and they were 3 reel slots, not video slots, other than the video parts showing their credit banking levels. These 2 machines were the ones, because of their banking credits, that you would see the sharps walking around the casinos looking at the credit banking levels on them over and over and over all day long, waiting to find one at an advantageous credit banking level.. I read somewhere that some casinos started ejecting players who only played on banking slots that were at advantageous banking levels.
I think early in the morning people feed machines all afternoon and night so 3am-6am best for me

This would seem logical since the most people are playing, and if more money is being spent (lost) then the RTP would be happening more often.

I've found in Atlantic City the best time to play is 7am to 11am.... and 5pm to 1am... my theory is people come just to play free money they receive through their comps... and leave before dark... so casino is tighter when they know most people are wagering the comp play...

Strangely, even tho its supposed to be random, morning leading up to lunch seems to be the worst time for us.

Hi Jacob. Love your content! My unsolicited advice would be to make a certain number of spins for each time period...if you play 200 @ 3 a spin that would be 66 spins at each session. Then whatever monies you walk away with after said spins would give you a more accurate data on which times of the day was best. Lol. Either way I love it and am looking forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve for your next video!

The odds are the odds are the odds. You can lose at six am, six pm or anytime you want. Stop giving the people the illusion that silly things matter. Jacob knows how these machines work. A random number generator spits a number out and has no idea what time it is. The odds were factory set. Lets just have fun gambling but dont give people the illusion that anything but the random number generator controls the winnings.

JACOB! You don't understand anything! The machine is set to pay the same way 24/7. It doesn't pay better at any particular time of day. The best time to play is when the machine gives you a win and the worst time is when the machine takes your money. But the only way you can tell is to play and see what happens. I don't care if you lose you money, but you have to realize that you mislead people, some of whom might lose because of our advice. You need to stop coming up with the stupidest hypotheses, then pimp them as if you have half of an idea what you're doing. It's shameful.

Seems like the slots are the loosest on Saturday 8:00 pm -1:00 am. Very tight on Sundays especially to get Bonues and Special Symbols. Early morning hours 2:00 am to 6:00 am any day it seemed like the machines would eat me alive. Maybe they are set to swallow up money from gaming addicts at that time in the morning. Thinking they operate on a Retail Principle, if more people are in the casino gaming, then there are more significant payouts. Less people in the casino gaming, means less coming in, less great wins going out
