Yes, l admired them. I can in the park every morning and watch them dancing. Young and old.All sorts of dance, line dance, tango, samba, you name it.... they are so happy. And this is China 🇨🇳 how l wish l can learn from them.

You're not seeing their awkward beginning, you're only seeing the finished product. I started learning shuffle dancing a few weeks ago. I was a complete spaz when I started (and got weird looks from passers by), now I've nailed that step. I glide like an angle when I do it. It took a lot of practice. Remember: "don't compare you're beginning with some else's middle, keep up the work, you'll catch up to them eventually" 😁👍
I used to be like that too lol. Everytime i practice, i look like i broke my ankles. But i practiced my fav shuffles for a month and now i know how to do 3 moves. Yeah so, jokes aside, just practice hehe

The number of dance studios teaching African-American hip hop dances have all boomed thanks to the Korean Hip-Hop wave over the past 5 years. Top shows in China video platforms include The Chinese rap show. African-American Hip Hop dance routines are being remarketed as "Jazz dance", and include C-walking (gang banging signaling with feet from Los Angeles, the side stepping you see in the video), Popping, Locking, Running Man, New Jack Swing (the shuffling you see in the video) and has NOTHING to do with either of the shuffles you are discussing. 5 years ago, the Mao-era "granny dancing" was replaced by Salsa dancing, which was RECENTLY replaced by hip hop dancing. Many 30 somethings are now bringing their hip-hop routines they learn from the "jazz studios" to the parks in all parts of China. Our street culture and music was white washed twice through British invasion. Not this time! and not on my watch!

Close to a year ago I found this amazing video and left a comment but I somehow accidently deleted the video. I'm so happy to have found it again because it's the "BEST" shuffle dance on TH-cam !!! I love!!! love!!! love!!! this group. As a whole, they are incredibly outstanding --- but the older gentleman next to the lady with the sunglasses is absolutely magnificent !!! When I say "older" I don't mean old --- I mean "well seasoned and experienced" --- it shows in the way he dances, and I say this about him with the "utmost respect" --- individually, he has the best, the most beautiful, and the most relaxed moves. It's a pleasure to watch him !!! He's the "STAR"🌟👏 of the show !!!
