    I came here to learn to season my new pans but went away feeling relaxed and calm as well. Your demeanor and voice are very calming. Thanks. Happy New Year

    Thank you so much for this useful advice! Also for the heartwarming bible verses in between. At first I was so focused on the seasoning process I thought I had somehow mistakenly got into another video and I stopped and restarted it twice... quite impatiently i must say! Till i realised it's a well placed and inspiring message shared by you. So thanks very much for that! I'm a practising Christian Catholic and I listen to many spiritual videos every morning. I loved the verses you shared. Timely and much needed! Thank you and God bless you abundantly!🙏❤️🤗🙏

    Great tip. I am doing the three time process as suggested. After each time you can feel your pan get smoother. I may repeat as she suggests if necessary. *All pans should be seasoned. Watched my mom & grandmother season their cast iron many times. (I look at the coatings when originally applied at the factory like spraying car parts if you will.) Enhancing the finished product. Another tip useful is heating & the type of stove you are using. Gas, Electric, Induction. Again TY. ❤😂!! USA.

      Heya and thanks fornyour comment. It's usually best to season your pans before first use and again after every couple of uses. I hope it still works for you though and here's to wish you the best. Hugs and blessings🤎

    Silly question, after three times we left the pan with the oil or we need to wash it again before to use?

    • @comfortskitchenflavours

      Thanks so much for your comment Elizabeth. Nope, you don't need to wash it again after the third time🙂. Have a blessed day♥️

      Do you wash it with soap in between the whole seasoning process? I'm a little confused

    • @johnbob4545
      @johnbob4545 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ladyMarieleOnly if you season it more then one time. But don't wash after your final season.

    Non-stick pan dont need to be season. Just need to pre-fire the pan without any oil. Before cooking. That how a non-sticky pan work. Then after pre-heating the pan u had a little bit of oil and then your food. Cheers

    Used mine today for the first time.
    I noticed that the oil froths or foams a lot while cooking. Is this normal/safe?

      Heya and many thanks for your comment. 🫂. The issue is likely with your oil and not the seasoned pan. Blessings to you♥️

      Hello and thanks for your question. I was taught to season thrice, and I never asked why🙈 because it wasn't a hustle to do. Cheers and have an amazing week❤️

    Really. It’s a non stick pan. Why would you season ???

    • @comfortskitchenflavours
      @comfortskitchenflavours  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks a bunch for your comment. 🙏🏿. Seasoning will help fill in any small pores in the surface of the pan and reduce the need to use additional pil when cooking. Also it helps to extend the life of your pan so your food won't start sticking. I hope this has been helpful? Blessings to you❤️

      It’s to make them last a long time! If you don’t take care of them the non stick doesn’t lasts

      Hi, thanks for your comment. I've made what I do on this channel very clear (read my channel description, banner and my logo).....I share recipes for the spirit (word) and body(food) and whatever else from around the kitchen.
      Please feel free to skip the 20-second "preaching" section or to not watch my content at all. But I will not stop sharing the Word here. Blessings and great day❤️
