Godzilla VS Mecha Bin Laden (Full Movie 720p)

- You've found the 2016 HD re-release of my awesome Godzilla animated fan film / short film called Godzilla Vs Mecha Bin Laden. Originally uploaded in 2009, the original 360p low resolution film got 1,000,000+ views. I decided this year to remaster it and put it on my new travel channel, to hopefully grow this channel a little bit. So please subscribe!
2 sections of the movie are the old 480p up-scaled to 720p, the intro (first 20 seconds), and part of the battle at the end (another 20 seconds), the rest of remastered 720p. So why are 2 scenes upscaled low resolution?
Well unfortunately 2 of the original backup animation files burned onto CD were corrupted. So it was either spend hours and hours and hours re-animating them, or just reuse the old 480p video. Considering the original film did extremely well whereby the entire film is in low resolution, I think viewers will forgive a couple of parts in the film that are low resolution, the other 90% of the film is much better quality.

thanks for noticing :) Yeah when I saw the movie I figured they copied me, but honestly I basically copied Godzilla 1985 in this short film, in Godzilla 1985 Godzilla destroys a nuclear power plant to feed off the radiation

I finally found it after all these years...
I actually say that this re-release is awesome. Despite that the audio didn't changed and that during the final battle the video quality was lost (and also that a remake would have been a little better), it is a nice remember of the 10 year old me watching the original separated three parts. Thank you so much for uploading this!
Seeing a remake of this masterpiece with higher quality animation (2D and/or 3D) would be awesome!
Nice of you to say that, and I agree, but about 200 hours went into this one, I'm not keen on doing all that again. I haven't been able to make a cent off this vid either because Toho copyright claimed it since the music is theirs.

If I ever do, it won't be another 20 minute short film, this thing took way too long to make, like 200 hours :) If I do more Godzilla animation, it'll likely be shorter funnier stuff like Godzilla Vs The Donald Trump Wall, Godzilla VS American Politics, Godzilla VS ISIS, stuff that's politics/current events or something funny like a celebrity, Godzilla VS Taylor Swift etc.

Is it an Alternate History timeline? I am quite curious about the setting of this universe. What happened and why after World War III?
In 9 year since I uploaded it you're the first person to ask this question, and I commend you for it as it's the best question I've ever had. The idea was, I didn't think it was believeable that essentially a terrorist organisation (Al-Quaeda/Bin Ladin) could build a "super weapon" unless there had been a massive conflict (WW3) which dramatically changed the entire middle east in thier favour. In today's terms, imagine if ISIS simply gets control of ALL the middle eastern countries and all those countries were to be renamed as "Islamic State".
If I hadn't put this backstory in, your complaint would of instead been "How come a small terrorist organisation can build such a big robot, it's not believeable".

@@Y2J What about the Movie Wild Wild West (1999)? A madman in a wheelchair captured the US's top scientists and force them to build a giant tarantula. That's just my theory.
Back then I thought this was the coolest animation ever, today i still think this is really great but man the idea behind this seems so weird
yeah most people totally miss it because they don't read the intro or don't look at the regional map shown of the middle east shown on the aircraft carrier, but the backstory is that this animation is set after a 3rd world war, perhaps a hundred years into the future... where islamist extremist factions have taken over the entire middle east region, all the way over to China. They've actually become a superpower like what the USSR was. But for the sake of telling a Godzilla story, and actually making it possible to animate... most of this film just takes place out in the mountains of Afghanistan away from civilisation.

It's from Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla, 2001 or 2002... somewhere around there. They also remixed it to an almost identical version for Godzilla Vs Megaguirus, same time period, around 2002/2003. Those are the 2 films you wanna check out the soundtrack... to find that piece of music.
