Stats in cave essentials vary, sometimes you may want melee damage, other times you might want movement speed. All and all, it’s good to make sure that your animal has good stats. In caves, you want: Weight: All the loot from Dinos May weigh you down! Health: To not die Melee: Kill them nuisances! (Not Essential in certain caves) Speed: Especially in the Lava cave, to jump the gaps but be careful, you may slip off the edge.

I tried to tame and breed two dire bears on my solo, but I ended up finding two level 30’s. This was great, but they were both male so yeah I have two max level dire bears and no female. I also tried to breed to of the most useless dinos ever. I had two very high level paracers, so I wanted one with good stamina, weight, and health. I watched them do the dirty, then I left as the female was going to give birth in 25 minutes. I ended up taming something like a high level argy, so when I came back, the baby ran away and got killed.

Would it be even a bit better to run around with the new tamed bears to level up even more? The first few levels will go very quickly and that will give even better breeding stats.
Jochen Bilderbeek the offspring’s levels depend on the level tamed and the extra taming effectiveness by its parents, not the levels it gained after being tamed.
Go to her channel and scroll up down or up and you’ll see a stream that I think says hunger games event and something else, but she will stream this evening

I tried taming a level 590 cave wolf but it didn’t work. I knocked it out and used a soothing balm and kibble. Is it patched?
The only way to take cave dinos is kill it grab it's artifact and resecerect it then tame it
