BUT MINE IS ALSO NEWER TV BUT NOT SMART. This is just stupid, my tv doesn’t have a WiFi because it’s non smart, how do you connect then. There is no non smart tv that has built in WiFi why can’t people understand

Well yes a non-smart TV does not have built-in Wi-Fi. This will only work if you have Internet. that way the device that is attached to the TV is on the same Internet as whatever phone you are using is on

It’s easier if you have a Chromecast. A Chromecast without Google TV. Just makes it simpler for people who are not tech savvy.
