Do you have the lever under the seat in the middle position and not to the right when you are on the seat? I have run into similar issue when I had that lever in the rear hydraulic position. Double check that first. Also it is too easy to hit that lever one way or the other when getting on and off.
This was a VERY good demonstration of "Why" I WON'T, WILL NOT ,NO WAY ; Ever buy or Have a "measly --=-- 2 speed hydro-slack-o-howl-matic" - Twack-tor[ like the tractor-EXCEPT for the EXTREME "tinker-toy" deficit]. Because 1st range is almost NEVER GOOD FER ANYTHING; Because it is Too high to do "Powerfull-pushing or pulling" & TOO slooowww to travel with a "light-load". The "High -Gear" is "Right" for a "Road-Gear" for this size of "little Twack-tor". "iF" 1st range was 3.5 mph & 2nd was 7.0mph ,along with the present "high-gear" ( should be third range) it would be near perfect!!!:;;;; why , because l have a "35 year old 21HP TRACTOR with a THREE RANGE "hydro-slack-o-matic " configuration unit that "Preforms" FLAWLESSLY, BECAUSE it HAS the formentioned T formementioned THREE RANGE "hydro-slack-o-matic transmission ".!!! I Even bought the RK L25 Loader to "Adapt-a-late"( way too much MODIFICATIONS ),necessitated a "Whole other Tractor ".( have 2 other bigger units 36hp 3400lb & a 54hp 3700lb ( raw tractor units with out loaders or backhoes). Just "NEED" a smaller 25hp 2000-2700 lb "smaller frame " tractor- loader" to complete the "fleet". Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.
Can't wait to see his pit crew.
Do you have a vid on changing fuel filters/separator?
Gary I do not, I think Gathering Rust may have one, let me check.
He may very well have covered it in this video. th-cam.com/video/hm_rROwWN7w/w-d-xo.html
Just picked up a RK25 When I mash down the forward pedal it stalls the motor. Can you tell me why?

I think you should add a turbo soon and try again. 😎😁
I find it extremely uncomfortable going any faster than what it will do in low gear. Lol no suspension other than some springs in the seat.
Not built for speed
How true. 98% of the time 5 MPH is plenty for me.
