Who would you replace him with, he is a defenseman, his powerplay time is now nonexistent, he is a beast on the penalty kill and the contract is not his fault.
I hate being reminded of his ludicrous contract. One of the worst deals of the decade. If I was nurse I would want to have a bit of pride and step up. His physicality hasn’t been great, inconsistent passing, SO many blunders around the next and in the D zone. Offensive play was meh. Takes shots at glove height with nobody in front of the net. I just don’t think he’s a very smart guy.
