You all probably dont care but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot the account password. I would love any tips you can give me!
Man dave is so awesome he talked to me before my first meet my head was jacked up he told me just dont screw up for a total of 9 mins be on point for just 9 mins out of that day and a few other choise words lol and i killed it and set 2 prs . Every ones like i wish dave was my coach but after a week people will be crying cuz he will rip your soul and ego out like a bad tooth and humble the hell out of you
Thousands? He's been in powerlifting for something like 3 decades hasn't he? If he watched even one athlete per day do a single set of 5, he would have watched more than 50,000 reps. Chances are that Dave has watched more than a million reps on the deadlift.
That’s why he puts up TH-cam videos man you can see why he makes someone do something and you can replicate their end result just record yourself and watch him alot
This is genuinely fascinating getting to watch this level of lifter and coach in Tate. He is high enough caliber that at this point he is almost a artist
I agree one hundred percent with other comments. This entire "Breaking" series is excellent but it is really annoying that Rusin always feels it is necessary to interject some comment. Often he is talking over Dave. REALLY ANNOYING. Especially for those of us that want to hear what it is Dave is trying to teach.
Love this tutorial, I feel I’m more suited for the sumo deadlifts as opposed to the traditional deadlifts. My question is y’all were talking about breathing, what exactly should my breathing pattern be with this movement?
my les paul strat friend sumo works more butt and hips if you are built for it it will be advantageous if you are not conventional is the key...do both
Also Dave T reached out to John first. Both very different styles which has made this far more interesting to watch. Would love to see them bang heads more and come up with a programme for us.
You probably don´t know much about how biomechanics work. In any way, these videos are made so people learn and they have stuff to put out in the channel. Although Dave´s cues are helpfull John is far from a noob in the knowledge department. They are probably playing fool in both of Dave and this John's series. If they keep saying, "yeah, I know that" it sound´s cocky and probably not relatable for the average watcher. So, in conclusion, they both know their shit because is the same shit minus minucia
It's not that complicated, it's just a dead lift. All these comments, I can see everyone analyzing and applying all this crap and getting excited when they lift an extra pound or 2. It's a dead lift, it's not that difficult to execute and all those little minute details won't make a difference.
obviously u are a complete noob....the squat and bench press is soooo much more straight forward the deadlift takes about 3 to 5 years to get close to right
This is easily the best deadlift tutorial I've seen. Hearing the cues, and seeing how Dave teaches is so helpful
What are your key takeaways?

You can tell Dave has watched thousands of reps on the deadlift

Great video. A lot of good information. Thank you gents.
So much information...I love it
The about the inches thing and then you guys threw in his face made me laugh pretty good
9:08. That's what I play in my head on my Deadlift days. Really helps!!!

Yes, spot on!!
Didn't know about Louie's machine Dave showed at the end.. this thing is neat af, I love me some reverse hypers also.

11:46. It really has to feel great to hear that from Dave after that lift.
I needed this
11:40 was the CLEANEST dead I've seen
I have seen torn glute med and glute min
i wish i could get my back to stop rounding when i deadlift
im 50 but still like it
Conventional or sumo is my burning question...wish someone like Dave could tell me
my les paul strat friend sumo works more butt and hips if you are built for it it will be advantageous if you are not conventional is the key...do both
Sumo is gay
Do conventional if you do not compete
Wowww
I would kill to have Dave Tate coach me for even 1 session
can we choose the person?
Who would you do in?
This is the guy often gives advices on Testosterone Nation... Look at his techniques and look at those legendary chicken legs! Lol
I think Rusin's athletes need to go to Dave T instead.
griff everyone needs coaching even the best ones. Ironically people like stefi Cohen has gone to him Dr rusin
Also Dave T reached out to John first. Both very different styles which has made this far more interesting to watch. Would love to see them bang heads more and come up with a programme for us.
Dave looks about 28 here
con respeto Dr jhon russin le cuesta hacer lo que D
ave dice!!
I don't know who this Dr guy is but he doesn't really know how to Deadlift. At least at the beginning he is just straight legged deadlifting.
There needs to be one like this exactly in terms of how the video is but for sumo
Convy Superior, Sumo Inferior haha.
Did he just chalk John's peter?
Bald dude needs to talk less and listen more
he's an expert too
He's a expert in something else not this shit. That's like saying a dentist is an expert too comparing him to a heart surgeon.

Everytime I comment and make fun of him elite takes down my comments. Hes a tool
That's agent 47. Be careful
The guy should talk less and listen.
Stop dropping the fuckin bar and pull back your shoulders at the end of the deadlift. Stand up straight with straight shoulders dude.
💪😂

It's the simplest of the lifts but it happens very quickly.
how much do u pull
These little things make all the difference
This comment shows how little you actually know about lifting.
obviously u are a complete noob....the squat and bench press is soooo much more straight forward the deadlift takes about 3 to 5 years to get close to right
I’m surprised Dave worked out with a clown like John
