He has a lot of experience doing it, i think this was his 4th or 5th interview show, he has over a decade of experience at this point.

Tom Green is a legend and an innovator
I remember watching the Tom Green show when I was a kid back in the 90s. He still just as fantastic and genuine as ever. I wish him nothing but the best, and I give him full credit for my entire developed since of humor. Truly a man ahead of his time. Thank you Tom for everything.
Genuine is a great word to describe his work for sure. Nothing feels forced or faked ever.

I enjoy hanging out with you at your house Tom. You make me laugh out loud so many times and I love that. You chasing Charley instead of Charley chasing you was so funny. Charley was into it too. You ran around so many times in one direction she swopped directions to keep it interesting🤗 Love Charley so much. Then you did the wild concert pianist, that was so funny. Love the new necklace. It's awesome that you are representing for multiple cultures in your home and on the road. Playing that last song with the necklace zoomed in close was like something out of a silent movie where the music does the talking, very fun. I love the way you handle trolls. You give them the benefit of the doubt but you don't let them bother you to the bone which is what most trolls are wanting to happen. You are like you just stumbled in, which is so awesome to say Lol Just like your lines about Brian stumbling in in your Brian's Gone song its such a perfect way to put it and very funny to hear said. Really enjoyed that fellas! Tom was talking to Steve like he'd managed to get a woman back to his house and he couldn't quite believe it was happening lol It's hard to tell if it's a style, natural nerves or a mix of the two but, it works.
I grew up watching him when he started in the early 90's with the a local channel in Ottawa .. totally his style.

How can you go a full interview with Steve Carrell and not talk about The Office? That's not right man. That's personally all I'd ask him about the entire time. Still enjoyed the interview as a Tom and Stev e fan but that aforementioned specific point offends me.
Everyone asks him all the time about it, all the questions have been answered.

honestly i like this format so much better, having a sidekick would make it seem like too much of a main stream talk show. I like the intimacy of this set up, with genuine laughter coming from the crew/other people off camera. And not a big sign lit up saying "Laugh now"
