This is the video I never thought Puffer would make, but since he did I am in debt. Me and my friends used to play Halo Custom Games almost every weekend for 2 years straight, some good memories! Edit: Holy crap thanks for all the likes, but I will now tell the tale of Boom Slaps... So we were playing Custom Games, I'm pretty sure it was Slip 'n Slide, but the people in the group who (were legally allowed to) got drunk and changed the game mode's settings to make Slip 'n Slide into absolute hell. (Slip 'N Slide is fiesta/random weapons on a small angled slope that teleports you up when you reach the bottom) Basically we made it only have Rocket Launchers. That birthed the idea of Boom Slaps, turn gravity REALLY low, you're fast as hell, and you have rocket launchers. Like Soldier in TF2 but they don't rocket jump and instead just blow each other up. Basically people got drunk, turned gravity to the minimum, made you into the speed of Sonic, and gave you Rocket Launchers with unlimited ammo.
Hate to say it, but as a 36 year old going on 37, this brings back a lot of nostalgic feelings. Mostly fantastic, but also knowing the people I would play with are all adulting. Halo defined my my teenage and early 20's and I'll never forget those feelings. Thanks Puffer for making an old man cry.
If there's one thing i love about each halo game, its forge. Every now and then when i jump into Infinite, i am constantly blown away by how beautiful the forge maps are. Crazy to see how forge has evolved since halo 3.
Recently got an Xbox Series S for Christmas (bought it for myself) and the first game I got was the Master Chief Collection. First game I played after OG Halo was Halo: Reach, took me right back to my childhood
I used to play this with my cousin, who’s basically like my big brother, as a kid when I visited his house. Thank you for the lovely trip down memory lane.
Now this is peak gaming. Just messing around in customs on Halo. Takes me back to high school every single school night until 2 or 3 in the morning me and all my IRL's gaming Halo 3 and Reach mp and customs
I just played out the campaign with my friend as a first time Halo player and the we did some big team battles and had some fun. I can't wait to go back and try more

I'm just gonna let everyone know about a game mode you can make called Super Fun Slide, it's where you take a bunch of vehicles, ghosts, warthogs, mongooses, and wraiths, and then you make a slide with a bunch of teleporters from the bottom to the top. One team is the riders, and the other is the infected, whose job is to kill the riders as they're sliding down. Also, make sure to have death balls past the teleporters when the riders gain too much speed. Used to play this a shit ton with my brothers when I was a kid
Halo Reach was the second game I have ever played in my life after minecraft. I was like 6 maybe 7 years old and it is my favorite game of all time. Not for how good it was (even though it was amazing) but because of the nostalgia. The game reminds me of being that young again there will never be another game like reach. best campaign of all time

I agree with puffer. Halo 3 Forge was good, ODST firefight was fun and Reach perfected both.
ODST firefight is the best one, but Reach definitely has the best forge in the series. Such a great game for the series to end on
