you all probably dont care but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
This was actually really fun to watch, I wouldn't mind seeing more of this - once it's possible to go outside again that is. Adding the cars to the map-tracking would also really help visualizing how many close shaves there were
If you look at the map-tracking, it looks like Kathleen and Matt were *very* close to each other when Matt got caught, so that's one close shave right there.
Wouldn't it be possible to do this even in pandemic times? I mean you don't have to meet at a café or go into the same car and it looks like not too crowded areas. As soon as they're caught they could simply be eliminated without sitting in the same car.
@@Zorajit Speak for yourself with "happier." I'm doing my part, but I sure wouldn't say I'm happier living in a world where I can't gather with friends in person.
I want more of this somehow. Like maybe instead of them getting in a car, because of covid stuff, the captured runners are given a hat or a scarf of sorts?
I love how super into the game you could see all the foot players were on their faces of terror whenever they heard a car. This was a wonderful game! :) Let's hope for a new round post inoculation!
Oh hey my friends and I used to play this in High School, but it was much more, uh not safe. One person was put in a trunk and let out not knowing where they were and had to make it to a location. And to actually get caught someone in the car had to get out and catch them. I don't know how none of us got hit by a car or something.
7 Canadians are on the run from 2 dastardly drivers who only wanted to give them a lift as a friendly gesture. Who will survive and who will be caught? Find out this winter on: "When Cars Attack!" Drivers: "We're not attacking anyone!" Coming to a screen near you.
Ben is totally me. Last time I went to my new dentist in my hometown I had a lot spare time, so I chose to walk. In my defense I had been in this part of the city only using the bus and I had an image which way to go. In the end I needed nearly twice as much time as expected and was just in time. ^^
I've been there, but only occasionally because I went the wrong way (in my defense, the worst incident to that effect was when I had no internet and was in an unfamiliar city, so I wasn't able to double-check the map before taking a "shortcut" that led me nowhere near my destination); usually I just severely underestimate how long it'll take to get somewhere by walking.
This was a lot of fun to watch. Graham's narration just put it over the top, and kudos to whomever edited that all together. Just stellar work all around.
I really enjoyed this bit, even though the weather did its best to try to ruin it. I hope that you guys are able to do this again in the upcoming summer when hopefully (gestures at the world) things are improved.
This was so much fun to watch. Also I love Jacob's unbreaking stare while drinking coffee in the cafe at the end. Such "Next time, next time Gadget!" energy.
I love how even in a game of car hide and seek Wheeler plays cowboy magic and just makes Ian/Graham have it XD Also Jacob in the background of the results screen killed me
holy bus, this content is so good! i was smiling and giggling all the way through. it reminds me of playing Kick The Can back in elementary and was immediately brought back to the same mental space of being a child without a care in the world. its exactly what i needed. also, jacob sipping coffee menacingly in the window and the end absolutely SLAYED me
This just came back up for me. This was one of the first LIVE segments I ever saw, and I still love it (having seen Roadquest, PrePrerleases and some of the other "traditional" twitch streams) This is one I would love for you guys to do again, or a similar such idea.
Back in 2012, just after we all graduated high school, my friends and I did something very similar to this. We had 5 players, 4 runners and the driver, who had his family's mini-van. This brought back so many memories that I completely forgot about.
Same, about 3-4 years before you. This was a time before everyone had good maps data on their phone. We played make it from the south HS about 2.5 miles to the North HS. Best game I played I think had 4 cars (driver and one other on phone) and about 20 players total.
This is why you all are my favorite content creators. Such a great combination of personalities that y'all can seriously film yourselves going to the coffee shop in the rain and turn it into enjoyable content.
I know things like these with lots of cameras take lots of work to edit, but they're great! When there's a chance to do more stuff like this and Road Quest, please do more. I loved it. That map of everyone's paths at the end and watching Ben spin around in circles was icing on the cake
This was great! We used to play car hide and seek where you park somewhere and send out mildly cryptic clues about your location to the other cars who competes to see who can find the hiding car first
22:20 is a soul-crushing moment. However, you can now use the alternative video title: "Ian Chases his Friend with His Car, while Beej goes on a personal adventure!"
This feels surreal. Here they are cutting through backyards and... no big deal. A month later, we were all locked in our houses afraid to go to the food store. I couldn’t imagine the reaction if you tried cutting through a backyard in April. It’s a cool game, looks like tons of fun, & I really like the video, but it’s so weird based on what happened a few weeks later.
Your ability to cut this into something exciting and not simply entertaining is another moment for me where I think, “how is it Hollywood isn’t paying LRR bazillions already?”
Ok, legit thought this was a preview of a new Road Quest and got super hype but in the end truly wasn't disappointed viewing something from the before times. Yall are amazing
This was wonderful. I miss these sorts of things. Not just because of the pandemic, but because I haven't had friends like this since high school. Such good feels.
We need more of this. Maybe next time, don't let the competitors use Google Maps - just give them a dollar store compass and tell them to figure it out.
I really appreciate the balanced success rate. This was a well-devised challenge and I'd love to see more like it. Also I'm curious where Beej wound up
"So what _was_ Ben doing?"
"So many ducks! :D"
Died at this part lmfao, such classic Ben
Ben was at a magical place
To be fair, Serge also swooned over the ducks.
I love how this probably came about as an answer to: "we've got like a dozen go pros from road quest, what should we do with them?"
"HUNT OUR FRIENDS!"
Too bad they sold the cars. With the furrsuit interceptor the hunt would be on.
Road Quest was filmed almost three years ago somehow.
@@LobsterSpecial I feel old
All of this was great, but the best part was definitely Jacobs face during the speech by Serge and Kathleen at the end.
Not weird at all
Sad Jacob at the end, for sure.
I completely missed brooding and angry Jacob glaring out the window at them, sipping his drink, plotting his next move of revenge.
Just don't touch his ears!
Thank you
I really want to see that end graphics with the routes have an overlay for Beej, just to see how wildly off or close he got.
Agreed, also Ian, to see the close calls!
I was so sad they didn't show Beej's route.
@@bensargeant8150 With where Kathleen was when Matt got caught, I'm surprised she slipped by and won.
Watching Ben's marker going in circles at the end was hilarious!

this was such a fun section, plus it does in fact confirm Ian is concerningly good at hunting people down by chance
Everyone else: *complicated plans involving multiple steps*
Kathleen: "I have a rock in my shoe."
Never change, you're the best xD
And she won! The simplest plans....
"I'm waiting here.
Just for a minute.
...I dunno why."
"Beej was wherever Beej was" basically how the man operates at all times
"Beej was off finding himself... And playing Pokemon Go."
"Oshawott was of no help at all."
They should had used a clip from Road Quest, Beej driving the police car in the middle of nowhere
Like 69!
Ben getting lost and Beej never seeing another player are so totally on-brand for them. You never could've written it.
This was actually really fun to watch, I wouldn't mind seeing more of this - once it's possible to go outside again that is.

Edit: Jacob's angry background stare at the end is beautiful!
Ian: Good thing I have this roll of paper towels!
Matt: *Drys himself in the most degenerate way possible*
I love the slow, deliberate coffee-drinking stare from Jacob at the end
It’s weird watching something from the old times
@@Zorajit nah, I could go for a coffee in a crowded cafe any day after the pandemic

The final shot of Kathleen and Serge bragging while Jacob stews in the background is perfect.
I want more of this somehow. Like maybe instead of them getting in a car, because of covid stuff, the captured runners are given a hat or a scarf of sorts?
They filmed this in March 2020, so before Covid in Canada I'm assuming.
@@extrudatinoal I believe Colby knows that and is more trying to come up with adjustments that will let this be repeated without risk of infection
@@eonchao Exactly. This was amazing and I want them to do it again one day, but I don’t want anyone to get sick during a future video.
Or they could just wait until a vaccine is distributed to everyone who wants it and/or needs it which should hopefully be soon
This was a joy to see on LRL. Poor Beej catching nobody...
Edit: "We'll see how many of us fit in [the mini]." Man, that was prophetic.
I never thought I’d be jealous of people wandering around lost in the rain. But I guess that’s where we are now.
I love the end with Jacob FURIOUSLY drinking his coffee as Serge and Kathleen gloat. :-D
This is IMPECCABLY edited. Like, honestly, award winning editing/pacing through the whole thing
This is how LRR determines yearly bonus recipients right?
I cannot stop laughing at Ben's desperate squiggles at the end as he apparently runs laps around the playground.
There needs to be a seasonal Car Hunt, with yearly standings...
This now explains Jacob's tweet where he was completely wet...
from a year ago?

Ok, I'll rewatch Road Quest after this
Jacob's slow, angry sip of coffee at the end is pitch perfect.
Loved this, if you do it again maybe lowjack the cars too. just to see exactly where Beej went
Beej not getting anyone while the mini goes full clown car, while Ben circles the drain at the end is exactly what I expected from the LRR crew. 😂
The rain aesthetic really makes this game for me... and the hilarious narration too :P

You do realize we now need merch "team car" and "team foot" ... I'd just settle for "Team foot"
As someone who walks everywhere I go, I would love a LRR Team Foot t-shirt.
Naw man... "The Foot Clan"!
I'll take team "steadily sipping while staring directly down the barrel of the camera"
Team Foot might be mistaken for... something else.
