Lyrics:
You say you want to leave
Well that’s hard to believe
This whole entire thing
Feels just like a scheme
What did I do to deserve this
You packing your bags all nervous
Don’t mean to sound so callous
But I understand
You gotta do what you know you need to do
What you know you gotta do
What cha thinking
I ain’t a fool but if you’re saying we’re through
Than the only thing to do when you leave
Is Stay Gone
Stay Gone
Ah Ha look at you getting caught
Just like I thought
It was all apart of your plot
Just to get your way
But hey hey it ain’t happening
Not today or ever again
Your little fairy tale has come to an end
I hope you understand
I gotta do what I know I need to do
What I know I gotta do
What cha thinking
You ain’t a fool and if I’m saying we’re through
Then the only thing to do when you leave
Is stay gone
Stay Gone
Stay Gone
Stay Gone
Ahh ahh ahh
Ahh ahh ahh
I gotta do what I know I need to do
What I know I gotta do
What cha thinking
You gotta do what you know you need to do
What cha know you gotta do
What cha thinking
We ain’t a fool
But if you’re saying we’re through
Than the only thing to do when you leave
Is Stay Gone
Stay Gone
Stay Gone
Stay Gone
Stay Gone
Controlled chaos ... musically anchored ... compelling ... no reason to stay gone from "Stay Gone"
Beyond fantastic! I'm loving the different feels within the song!
So universal... very fitting that this follows "Scream"
You can comprise a thematic album where you meet the girl, she cheats, y'all break up, and you tell her ass to STAY GONE!
I think Johnny Depp needs this song in his life. ;^)
