They actually go pretty well for what they are.

The one real downside to this car is how darn noisy it gets as you pick up speed and spend more time behind the wheel.
For the rest, it's everything you need, especially in a busy city like the one I live in.

Considering how small they are, I'm surprised how tall you can be and sit in them, I'm 6.3 and have had one, there are much bigger cars I have much more trouble sitting in.
However, I agree with the seats, they work on shorter trips, but if you sit longer than say 40 minutes in them, it starts to feel, I did trips of 6-7 hours a few times in mine and it works, but you become aware that you have a back.
It's just about fuel economy in them, so of course they put a little stingy engine in them. But I'm still surprised they didn't come up with a GTI version, I think only 20-30hp more and they would have been really fun cars to drive, while still being more fuel efficient than most other cars.
However, they accelerate quite well at lower speeds up to 50-60 km/h
I also agree have owned I think 13 or 14 cars and it is by far the cheapest car I have owned when it comes to ownership costs.
I would definitely have kept mine if it wasn't for the fact that I needed a towbar and unfortunately they can't be put on those cars.
Would also say they are a good tenth car, when you are tired of spending money on cars and just want something to get you from A to B cheaply.

You look like you have plenty of room. I'm 6ft and have enough room, and an aygo forum in on,a guy is 6'6 and says he fits comfortably so 6'2 should be no problem

Disagree with the thrust of what you say. Long ago, round about 2012, I had the use of an Aygo for about 10 days. What I really liked about it was that it was fun to drive. The relatively low power wasn't an issue. You don't need lots of power or great performance for a car to be enjoyable and fun to drive. I own an MX5 Mk1, which proves my point.
As it happens, my daily car is a 2006 Yaris 1.0, with the same engine as the Aygo. The only reason I chose a Yaris was that it was better appointed than the Aygo/C1/107, ie the doors close with a thunk rather than a clang, just a more expensive car really. But not as much fun to drive as an Aygo.

I've got an Aygo, which is about my 15th car 🤣I live in the hills and it struggles with them, but on a straight road it pulls great, till about 40mph. I'm a touch over 6ft, the height of the car is fine, but it's getting in that I touch the steering wheel, but it's no biggy. The things that annoys me, is the glare off the dashboard onto the windscreen. The other main one is, the panels around the doors, I know it's low spec, but it's going back to the 80s. Overall though I like mine and I think they are good looking car.

My Aygo has an adjustable steering wheel, I'm not sure if these are standard though.

If you ever get a front tyre blow out, you will be sitting in a farmer's field in seconds wondering how you got there. Try holding the steering wheel now and then🤣

Driving along without your hands on the steering wheel, is not the best way to drive. Lets hope there are no newly qualified drivers watching!!

Have you always been putting 99 octane also so what’s the millage that you would get in average? Also if you think this car is slow why not get stage 2 which could get your car even up to 95BHP if engine is healthy.

Can’t imagine driving this at 6”2. I’m 5”10 and struggle with mine. Couldn’t agree more on the pros, mines my first car but I’m lucky enough to ride bikes alongside driving, so I get my speed kicks elsewhere. The only con I have is that stupid hand free system that you beautifully demonstrated, must’ve found myself screaming yes or no at it numerous times. Might as well be speaking Spanish

The clutch out of the MK2 yaris should do the trick, 09 plate onwards which had the 1ltr aygo engine, earlier than that they had the original mk1 yaris engine and those things were slow and had a high tax bracket, found out with a little google searching, mines done 40k and still going

‘I wanna be your dad basically’ best line in the whole of TH-cam. Sad to see this thing go. Slowly modifying my mk2 aygo so this was a good bit of inspiration for me. 🤌🏻
