Glitch & Legit Ways to BEAT the Valkyrie Queen in God of War, Works 2022, Sigrun

- We give you the build and tips to beat the Valkyrie Queen Sigrun. This toughest boss can be beat if you can do damage fast and avoid taking it. The glitch allows you to cheese the fight easily on any difficulty.
We advocate a cooldown build with the talisman of realms if you don't want to cheese Sigurn while dodging to the side. When she is flying Kratos is close to dying.
For the glitch way to defeat her easily you need a level 5 leviathan axe and the ranged skill "Returning Storm" and the Talisman of Betrayal obtained in Fafnir's Hoard favor for the dwarven blacksmith Sindri.

@@Marvelman199 Nope not patched, as I used the slow time in the mists, and it works, but I didn't use it for beating the Queen as I just didn't have to time to use it without getting killed by her, but I did beat her with the buld he has in this.

Thank you! Got it on my 2nd go! Didn’t even need a resurrection stone. I spent more time getting embers to upgrade the dwarf chestplate. And your breakdown of it is A1 👍🏻 Even if you don’t get it the 1st few goes, you can learn her attacks easier with the whole thing slowed down.
Thanks so much for the glitch method. I spend around 10-20 hours on GMGOW trying to beat her and always getting just over halfway. Finnaly got the platinum now, all done on GMGOW difficulty in one playthrough

Works Dec 2022. Many thanks, I definitely wouldn't have beaten her without the slow mo. Can't believe how hard it was on story mode, I thought that difficulty provided no challenge, YEAH RIGHT!

Upgrade talisman of betrayal to maximum upgrade.
Make sure axe is in hand before starting battle.
As soon as it starts all I did was get bit of distance from her quickly, then held L2 & press R3 to activate talisman. Then straight away press R2 to recall axe & immediately press R2 again. She should now be in slow mo. If she isn't then start checkpoint again & retry.
Note: I believe if she hits you at the start while you're pressing the buttons then it won't work. If u take any damage at the beginning just restart checkpoint.
Also keep distance during battle, if u take damage she may start at normal speed again

Holy crap. The cheese method WORKS!! I couldn't beat her forever. She was my most dreaded trophy in all Play Station. I slo moed and got it done second try!!!

THANK YOU!!!! If you also use: Eye of The Winged Chosen armor enchantment (it allows you to doge extra far away) then she wont touch you. once dodge with that enchantment in slow-mo and you will be miles away from her or any dangor.

@@ALF_Playzzz I didn’t use exactly the same armour. Just used the combination he mentioned but it did take a few goes sometimes before it triggered. Once it did take your time, as if she hits you she goes back to normal speed
And I only tried it on then queen Valkyrie, not any of the others so can’t confirm on that!

I just done the fight about 11 times before trying this cause I didn’t want to use any glitch but eventually I just couldn’t be asked to risked popping a blood vessel
My sanity thanks you greatly! No other guide was working, I got better results just being a battering ram. Refused to give up, she was the last thing I needed to finally get a Platinum trophy! (Valhalla would've been my first, had they not screwed controller version over with one of the rock towers but nevermind)

She's what's in my way of the platinum, I got so frustrated and deleted the game years ago and now I re installed it to try again so this will definitely come in handy . Hopefully it still works now in January 2024

For anybody still trying the "legit way". DO NOT TAKE EXAMPLE from this guy. You should do much less dodging and much more observing her and doing just enough to defend her current attack.
- Move right not left all the time
- Try staying in the middle no be squashed by the walls
- Prioritize not getting hit, you can go through whole fight without getting hit
- R3 pin her, so the view follows her as much as possible
- Do not get exited, just calmly follow the moves

I held L2 & pressed R3 as soon as battle started, then immediately pressed R2 twice.
I don't think it works if u take any damage during these moves, just restart checkpoint
