I recently learned that prog rock and heavy metal guitarists are often consummate musicians who play fucking difficult odd time signatures like 11/8 or God knows what. Deep respect for them, but the Quo NEVER fails to lift my spirits with their 4/4 joyful boogie and R&B in songs like this or with light-hearted "throwaway" songs like the excellent Marguerita Time. Masters they were in their prime.

I was a big Quo fan from 1977 til John Coghlan left in 1982. Friends could really piss me off when they said they found Quo boring. I must admit that I better understand their opinion now watching and listening to this. Lies was a particular boring song. The downhill move of the band had started and things would get only get worse.
Sometimes I enjoy the pop side of the Quo,but often I prefer the rockin'side.This song is a good one.
