Firstly engine life increases if you change engine oil for 2500-3000 kilometres as both Bajaj and TVs use semi synthetic oils. so if we change engine oil for 3000kms it is good, but when comes to pulsar according to the service for every 4500+kms we have to change the engine oil which decreases engine life for long run! Semi synthetic oil is not good for 4500 kms and everyone knows that Bajaj has one of the worst engine oils. So changing oil for every 4500kms make engine suffer In long run. In this case Apache is doing good job and coming to price yes they are charging higher but when compared to price of engine repair if anything happens, it is better to do service
