Lea L I agree!! I think there’s a huge difference between being “food focused” during the day as opposed to listening to your body. When I used to plan every meal it made me obsess over what I could and couldn’t eat. It ultimately made me miserable because eating a certain way became more of a “responsibility” (if that makes any sense) rather than something to nourish my body & soul. I think intermittent fasting is a great way to let your body regulate itself & get your diet back on track after a day overindulging. But for me personally being intuitive has helped the most. Some mornings I crave breakfast and other days I could go until noon, there’s no need to limit or restrict myself.

I unfortunately learned it harder way and that's exactly why I want all these young people, especially girls to educate themselves about nurturing their bodies with right food and exercise. I’ve been intermittent fasting for about 6 months now and it’s really wonderful! Definitely listen to your body if you’re feeling actually hungry, but for me fasting taught me to understand the difference between hunger and just wanting food and also giving my body time to recognize when it’s full. I fast from 8pm to 12pm so I begin to eat at lunch time every day. You can always do a shorter fast, or not every single day! When I first started, I only did it 5 days a week. Hope this could be some good insight. Adore you so much!
Hi Romee, I actually love to do fasted cardio first thing in the morning sometimes. I'm a binge eater, and that is the only thing that works to control my appetite. It also invigorates me for the day, and I feel like anything that happens the rest of the day is less stressful.
Have you tried indulging in fruit? Fruit is so healthy for you, and you can blend them to get more calories in. Adding different flavored sweeteners makes it taste better. If you fill up on fruit, you won’t want any junk food!

Mind you my hair is cold brown, a light coffee color not weird in any way but she had it out for me and found her opportunity. It's usually hard when you're the "only one" in anything- that's what discrimination is based on. I think the non-blondes (Mediterranean, latinas, black, Asian, native American etc etc) and the plus sized models face the most discrimination. Being openly gay is often also a problem :(
I LOVE your vlogs !!! For fasting, in our case Muslims we do fast for a whole month from day to night. Since it's a task that we do every year we don't really think about eating the whole day but I really understand your frustration for us also at the beginning of the month it is hard because you had the habit of eating every day then eating nothing so it's quite hard but then in your head, you're like you have to do it ( no choice lol ) so you don't think about it anymore.

hi romee! i lost 40 lbs using intermittent fasting and have kept the weight off for over 5 years now just maintaining using intuitive eating. i think before I did IF I was a chronic over-eater and my body didn't know when the stop, but fasting fixed this for me and I was better able to read my actual hunger cues after IF. I used to do a little bit of fasting stuff, it gave me a different perspective of having meals: not pressuring myself to have typical 3 large meals, since then I normally have what I want to when I need them! Hi Romee, I have actually been doing intermittent fasting for almost 8 months now. I was just like you before I started. I am a huge fan of breakfast, nice oatmeal bowl or an avocado toast. But what I do is to eat breakfast food for lunch so I dont miss out on it! When I started working out with a PT she thought that I was not gonna have any energy for the workouts in the morning and she was really surprised how much I could do before lunch. It definetely helped me to control my night snacks and I hate thinking about what to eat for 4 times in a day😒 Now I have breakfast and around 16.00 nice and healthy snack and dinner around 19.00☺️ Also I understand you feeling like you are restricting yourself. I am the same, I always try to give my body what it needs. Soo if I really wanna have an earlier breakfast or hanging out with my friends have a glass of wine in the evening I just do it maybe once or twice a month 🍷

Yes!! I thought the EXACT same way about intermittent fasting because breakfast and my morning coffee are a ritual for me, and I think breakfast is super important for good health! However, I did give this a try and eventually my body adapted to not having breakfast to the point where I didn’t crave it anymore or feel super hungry right as I was waking up. But you are 100% right about making sure you are maintaining the proper caloric intake. Skipping meals are not good, but fasting has been shown to have heath benefits so it’s just a matter of squeezing your meals into that 8 hour feeding period. Overall, I don’t think it’s terrible!
i’ve been on intermittent fast for three months and i’ve reduced 5 kgs. it’s amazing. i didn’t restrict myself from food , however i did the 16/8 hour thing. it works wonders. u should continue it

Well, I do intermittent fasting 16:8 window. 16 hrs fast and 8 hrs feasting. I am doing it for 2 months now, on and off for weight loss as my primary reason. But when I researched more about it, it has a lot of advantages to your body. Now I am still doing fasting but unlike before that, I can do it straight for a couple of weeks. Stay safe Romee!

I intermittently fast due to pancreas issues. I actually gain weight with my health because my body stores fat. It thinks its starving. All my vitamins run low especially vitamin D. They put me on a super large dose. Its not sexy. Ladies becareful not to starve the body. Just eat healthy and moderate is key.
I did intermittent fasting after both my pregnancy, I always find the first week was hard but after that it just became normal. I would only do it if I have weight to loss, I stop doing it once I have reached my goal weight, I didn't have access to the gym back when I was doing it but I definitely could not fast if I was hitting the gym!!

Yes!! I thought the EXACT same way about intermittent fasting because breakfast and my morning coffee are a ritual for me, and I think breakfast is super important for good health! However, I did give this a try and eventually my body adapted to not having breakfast to the point where I didn’t crave it anymore or feel super hungry right as I was waking up. But you are 100% right about making sure you are maintaining the proper caloric intake. Skipping meals are not good, but fasting has been shown to have heath benefits so it’s just a matter of squeezing your meals into that 8 hour feeding period. Overall, I don’t think it’s terrible!
i’ve been on intermittent fast for three months and i’ve reduced 5 kgs. it’s amazing. i didn’t restrict myself from food , however i did the 16/8 hour thing. it works wonders. u should continue it

Yes I’ve done intermittent fasting, I did it for a few months and lost 7 pounds! I had to stop due to my new class schedule, but I’m thinking of going back on it! It helps with not eating when I’m just bored, but to eat when my body actually feels hungry!

Hi Romee. I'm from the Philippines. I'm your avid fan ever since I watched one of your previous vlogs. I love avocados too! Well, I do intermittent fasting 16:8 window. 16 hrs fast and 8 hrs feasting. I am doing it for 2 months now, on and off for weight loss as my primary reason. But when I researched more about it, it has a lot of advantages to your body. Now I am still doing fasting but unlike before that, I can do it straight for a couple of weeks. Stay safe Romee!

I intermittently fast due to pancreas issues. I actually gain weight with my health because my body stores fat. It thinks its starving. All my vitamins run low especially vitamin D. They put me on a super large dose. Its not sexy. Ladies becareful not to starve the body. Just eat healthy and moderate is key.

I did intermittent fasting after both my pregnancy, I always find the first week was hard but after that it just became normal. I would only do it if I have weight to loss, I stop doing it once I have reached my goal weight, I didn't have access to the gym back when I was doing it but I definitely could not fast if I was hitting the gym!!
