I had no clue about the problems with porn usage until my partner confided in me about his addiction. It’s debilitating and so damaging, not only on a personal level but with your relationships as well. He used to have these massive mood swings and would snap at the slightest inconvenience. Thanks to you and your videos, we have been able to overcome and the side effects are completely gone. He started with deleting social media and it helped so much with the triggers. Everyone who uses social media should take a week break, even in that little time Ive noticed my vibrations raised significantly higher.
TH-cam should be considered a part of the social media list. People make or watch videos obsessively, read comments, get excited over thumbs up and increasing subscription numbers.

COVID has compunded multiple issues for me, yes porn already had me by the balls, but since COVID an ugly addiction reared its head again, that is gambling. I stopped it for 10 years when i was in a full time job and killed it, saving like nuts, what i saved in 8 years is 75% gone within a year, feeling so depleted :(

I was thinking about this and went i typed on youtube if there was someone that shared the same opinion. Glad I found this video. I deleted all my social media 5 years ago and I see how hard is to find people that want to be friends on real life. The first question they do is : do you have instagram?
I would like to also say that the biggest problem of today's society is generalisation. Just because 1 or a group of people have done something wrong in the past, we should not blame their entire race/gender or whatever, it does not imply that "everyone" does the same act of crime or assault or whatever it is, generally it's not realistic to assume things like that and I think that kind of mentality is really negative and is the main cause of many problems. Another thing, I think everyone has the chance to better themselves and improve this world, once they realise that what they are doing is actually doing more harm than good, and the solution is as simple as deleting social media and actually working towards your goals and achieve something and never to compare yourself with others. Sitting on a desk looking at a screen all day or using a smartphone does not really improve your social skills or physique, you need to actually do work to get to where you want to be in life. Anyways I know this might sound obvious but porn, junk food, and drugs (including alcohol) do more damage than good and there is absolutely no benefit from them apart from temporary pleasure. Let's start being more realistic and improve our own lives instead of worrying about others. And also past experiences like a breakup/divorce should not destroy your image of the opposite sex, just know that you had a bad experience and learn from it and move on with a positive attitude.

Your right bro. I was 11 when I got addicted. Took me 10 years to beat it with God leading the way for recovery. Have a book coming out on it soon. Brother it is not exactly that but it’s just that we are dopamine addicts and we just need stimulation. But in life we need a reset, that is why dopamine detox is really important. Although porn, tinder and instagram set wrong standards for people and can cause self worth issues.

If you would have told me this 6 months ago I would have agreed. But now, after years of meditation and growth mindset, a year or working out daily and stoic philosophy, months of eating healthy, and weeks of intermittent fasting, I’ve reached this level of freedom and contentment like I never knew I could - IG allows me to connect and inspire and tinder slows me to meet new people that I otherwise wouldn’t. Could do without porn tho. Anywho, maybe you’re right in the sense that society as awhole is suffering because of those things. And I was, but not I’m not. You can still get in the right headspace - I wasn’t a believe before, but now I am and it’s simply incredible.
