Great video. I remember being in South Korea back in the late 70s to early 80s, on a business trip to farm strawberries. Everyone wanted to talk about that dern blasted tree. Something you left out is that one day, much later, the troops were eventually driven mad by a harsh desire for justice and started running around chanting "tree, tree, tree." One of the most memorable moments of my career.
Honestly incredible. I was on a business trip in South Korea in 1976 and was there when all this happened. One thing not mentioned was just how massive the vehicles had to be in order to carry the troops. They had to modify the vehicles in order to hold these guys massive balls!
If Paul Bunyan were there he would have taught those Northern Koreans some manners and cut down that darn tree. Unfortunately we all know Mr. Bunyan died of complications due to Gigantism in 1978. I was lucky enough to meet him once in Fargo North Dakota where he showed me how to hotwire a car.
