I know it's been over a year but the size of the woofer... those cardboard walls will pulse and make a horrible sound along with the bass. With a few cardboard triangles holding the walls of the box it will sound a million times better!!!

@@ephascus8974 not Everything. Just strip down some multi core, multi stranded cable and you should be fine. Anything line level aim for shielded to cut down on noise

honnestly if you were to put this in a wooden enclosure , that would have sounded much better. thin cardboard layers are bad for sound purposes , maybe with bigger layers , it wouldnt distort that much because cardboard would be much more stiffer.
Still leaving a like for the efforts in this project ! :D

@@dannyBboy87 you can eliminate it all if you stick an another layer of thermocole/styrofoam, having 1 centimetre of thickness..
@@cijoykjose it wouldn't help much due to the vibration problem is the structure integrity of the enclosure itself ... it might reduce rattling and vibration but cant be totally eliminated .. e.g material used for constructing the speaker box ... cardboard is not really suitable for speaker enclosure building ... it might be suitable for experimental purposes but for speaker boxes it is best to use thick MDF sheets due to it has better acoustic absorbing properties ...
@@dannyBboy87 yes it's true, but it will eliminate up to 70+% of rattling and vibration ... I also add one more thing.. which is electric (black)pipes to provide reinforcement. 4 pipes up to 8 pipes depending upon the size..

I wouldn't use cardboard,but that was a nice quick build. Great video
50% of the inside walls should be covered with fiberglass or foam to damp reflections. I agree that some of those left over trim strips could be used to brace the sides. For better separation the box could be built turned so a side is the bottom and the tweeters placed further apart, more of a shelf speaker.

I used same audio decoder and amplifier.. I used 2 6" JBL speaker and a 7" sub woofer. Powered by 12V 10A power supply. When i keep the stereo volume max, one of the speaker sound gets lowered.. Is am using more capacity speaker for this amp?
Use 18v 8amp power supply.
Use 12v 15A

Guys stop being mean to him! He took his time to do this for us! He could have done other things but he did this to make people happy and enjoy this! I bet this was very hard to come up with. Even know it’s cardboard that was hard work. I dare one of you people who where mean to do this and film it, edit it, and publish it. See how long that takes. He also went out and spent money for this project. You shouldn’t be mean to someone for a simple thing or anything! Respect him and everyone else. I have had people who where jerks to me. I got bullied bad for little things. I have depression from all of that and have been suicidal before. Don’t do this trust me it could lead to suicide for some people. If you read this whole thing thank you so much for your time.

If I want to make a speaker system box of 50 watts @ 4 ohms having one woofer and one tweeter, what should be the wattage for Woofer and tweeter and is any crossover circuit required or not?

I have two 30 w speaker set which was used to my Thomson audio player. But the player not working. Now I would like to make the old speakers turn to Bluetooth speaker. So what circuit board should I ask for in the shop to connect as in did connect speakers to the circuit board.

Cardbord, it's his choice material of enclousure, i think its ok in this way (i think he too knows wood is much better), but i guess he should add one more layer at least, maybe 90 deg cross location, to get more stiffness, then it could survive more than single. so, find another washing machine owner.
then MDF board is better for long life and commercial purpose, but he was just mangaing to make that by utillising that washing machine box in a meaningful way

I found out from experience ( 20 watts or less ) that a sealed cardboard box has great resonance. I think maybe because the entire box reacts (?). I haven't tried subs nor higher wattage, just typical 2way applications.
If cardboard was more durable (longer life-span) , that may make it more worthwhile for such projects.

I own couple of these amplifiers. Chinese says it's 50+50+100W, but it has no more than 20+20+40. I don't recommend at all. Also, cardboard has practically no ability to resonance, so it's useless :)
Well no the on board chips can do the power its peripheral components which often are not that great i have a cheap amp which claims 100+100W and it does about 60-70W if not even 80W

If done correctly cardboard can make a very decent speaker box. He made two critical mistakes on this box. 1. The subwoofer should have its own enclosure within the box. It should NOT share airspace with the mids, that distorts sound. 2. when using cardboard for a speaker box you should always use 2 or more layers of cardboard glued together, and have some sort of bracing within the box.
Why need enclosure for sub when tweeters/midrage are air isolated, theres no vents for them

In 90s 100 watts pmpo speakers are just 6, 1/2 or 7 " inches they will give perfect and prompt sound

No. It will break the bluetooth receiver, not the amplifier. So to be able to use 24V, you need to put a converter behind the power supply and the bluetooth receiver. Then it will be working.
