I thank my brother for introducing Versailles to me. I still remember I am crazy for them back in my teen years. And now I am back listening to them, it really brings back all the memories and the nostalgic feeling listening to them
They came to Venezuela in Nov 11th, 2011 for the Holy Grail tour, their performance was as good as you can hear on the original recordings, Masashi bass solos and lines were 10/10. It was so great to be there.

Versailles is a good example of how Japan's Visual Kei scene outdoes the 80 glam metal scene in the west. it's better music and better costumes. they basically transcended the entire glam scene altogether.

they stopped all activities actually. kamijo (the singer) has his solo career since 2013 while the other four were in a new band with a new singer also in 2013. both bass player and the drummer left the group, only both guitarist are in the band still.
