Being looking around the internet for examples of the advanced step I used to do regularly around 10 years ago, most videos that claim to be advanced, aren't good to see you had the speed and complexity I remember in advanced step. I notice this video is from 8 years ago. These days I have only found one gym that still teaches to this complexity. Saddened that these days are gone.
Hi Orlando! Thanks for sharing the video, the choreography is very nice and challenging! But, if you have the opportunity, it would be great to share the entire class, with the didactics :-)
That's the type of class I usually go to when I go to step class but I don't know why on TH-cam you can never find the choreography classes. It's either beginners classes or a video like this where they have already learned the choreography.
the only person i know that has classes remotely similar is Kat Gates-Buettner. her advanced classes are fast paced and great choreo but id love to try this mans as well
this is definitely advanced. Now, if you disagree....try doing this for 45min to 1 hour with 2 step riser. You will be drenched. The complexity of the step is also engaging and you won't be bored. Please show full workout if possible next time.
Note that Orlando has no risers while the others have one riser. Most impressive is the elderly gentlemen in the back that is mostly keeping up with the moves! While in Colorado I used to participate in a class at 24-hour Fitness that was lead by a choreographer/instructor for the chain and he would introduce some challenging moves during the Saturday morning sessions. I don't think they were quite this challenging by having complicate moves back-to-back-to-back. Looks like a lot of fun once it's learned! All the moves are 4 counts. The bpm is very fast.
Our local gym is starting to post videos because they're shutdown, and I know they sometimes do more challenging classes like this, they have an intermediate one on there right now with the promise to post more. They're just trying to get a variety right now. m.th-cam.com/video/v6Z5hVqSjSY/w-d-xo.html
I have a livestream class on Twitch.tv Monday, Weds and Friday Live on Twitch.tv. Search my channel ZumbetoAZ. I hope it was okay to post about this on someone else's video. Sorry if i offend. thank you
This is probably just the end of the workout. It looks like they already know the routine pretty well. So, they're just repeating what he's already broken down and taught them.
i'm sure it's fun yada yada but absolutely NO one could take this class without having first known the choreography i've taught BodyStep for years and the average gym members have trouble keeping up with that...so obviously this footwork choreography is just too intricate to ne practical for the average gym members
This is what I called STEPS AEROBICS... hardly any instructors will teach this form of choreography ....
and for good reason virtually NO one is gonna pick up this intricate choreography in an hour NO one
I MISS CLASSES LIKE THIS!!
I miss this so much. This is so rare to find a true step guru video
This is absolutely amazing! Thats's exactly the kind of classes I enjoy!
Wish you had shown the entire class for this one. I would love to see how you broke it down when everyone was learning the routine.
You can try this channel th-cam.com/video/lRxllqQR6zE/w-d-xo.html

OMG... this looks like so much fun. I'm going to try to figure this out. Kat Gates-Buettner's advanced classes are not quite as hard. But fun.
I think you can get the real deal on les Mills website. Ive been looking for the same thing especially in Pandemic.
Yeah too sad no dedactie !

Does he still teach? With all the gyms closing down I am looking for some good online classes.
Me too. I would pay for online classes like this ASAP.

Krystina Lackey - Yes, he still teaches - subs at my gym in Vernon, Connecticut. I have trouble keeping up but love watching his moves!

in our gym this is called intermediary - same speed and same complexity of movements. Now I understand why I am so utterly hopeless at it :)
Thisis a long way from EXTREMELY advanced:D
Can only admire have tried simple beginner still not getting
Does anybody know what's the song at the beginning of the video?
I wanna go by britney spears
@@hiendral9533 Thank you so much, you are super!
@@gen7969 np, the Version in the video is a bit accelerated tho :)
Ir is nota extreme, but I like the routine.
Very beautiful
Reminds me of Wii fit
nice class, but the sound is :-(
No buildup or breakdown just do this. This is Not teaching its LOOK AT Me. You need to teach

I do step several times a week, but not like this. All that fast paced twisting and turning would kill my knees. Looks like fun, though.
Cueing might be nice... otherwise good speed and complexity.
You call this step, is " Extremely Advanced ", YO, YO, YOOOOOOO .......
I like to see what is your basiclys ones .......
i'm sure it's fun yada yada but absolutely NO one could take this class without having first known the choreography

I REPECT THIS A LOT!!
