    Also you're the love child of linus tech tips and Todd Howard

      Thank you!
      I'm trying to make our videos get better in quality as we go on. I also just enjoy making them and try to have fun with it.
      I guess I'll take the compliment on the looks. Both of them are fairly decent looking guys.

    Very well done. Gave a lot of information. Definitely helped having the different tones and such show through as you play.

    My last bass was a gothic thunderbird.... I miss it🥲.... but 10 years later (without playing) I just picked this bass up yesterday. Idk, maybe it’s cuz I haven’t played in years that I love this bass. I’m not where I use to be, obviously, I’m missing quite a few beats but this bass has me in love with playing again! Thanks for review.

      That's great to hear! We just make reviews for the instruments we buy and can get our hands on. I really like hearing that they help people! Helping people to make an informed decision is literally the only reason we make them

    I was in on a web shop looking for a bass and came over this type of bass. I was thinking 'this one looks cool. I want one.' So I thought maybe look on youtube first to see what people have to say about it. How do you like it? And would you recomend it? Haven't played bass in many years, my sister borrowed my bass, and it seems like I never gets it back.

      For the price I think it's a great bass. When I first played it I wasn't very happy with it but after a proper setup and new strings it felt a lot better and more fun to play on. If you have experience already and know what you like I would probably recommend getting a used Mexican Fender or Schecter bass. But if money is tight this bass plays great and could get you pretty far.

      @@robotromance5470 thanks for answer. I am a hobby bassist, and I don't want to use very much money on instruments, at least not as much as professionals might do. I know that good quality comes as the price gets higher. I have some experience when I have played several instruments since I was about 6 or 7 years old, and wants to be a better bass player. I don't want to use a hell of a lot of money just on my interests. I don't have that passion for playing that I want to spend much money it. Which type of strings did you use, and recomend for this bass? Do you have a link to those other basses you mentioned? My conclution is that I will check out which bass I like the most before I maybe buy one, and I will find out which one that is.

      @@bjorntommer I use Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings on bass because I like the sound and feel of them. If you have any music stores around you you should try to go just get your hands on a couple of basses in your price range. The neck varies a lot between brands and I recommend choosing the bass with the best feeling neck for you. The pickups and everything else are easily changeable if you want a different sound

    • @bjorntommer
      @bjorntommer 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use the Ernie Ball brand for the most too. I remember I changed to Ernie Ball strings on my bass in some years ago, and I destroyed one of them while changing them. So I got a new string in another brand, and it was a whole other experience. It was a totally different sound.
      I will search around a little. Thanks again for answers

      I prefer the EMG HZ pickups for an active preamp. But these were surprisingly good for the cost of the instrument

  • @8Junio76
    @8Junio76 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The pickups are passive, only the preamp is active.

    Tip for beginner bass players:
    Dont drop the bass. You will play much better if you can keep the instrument in your hands and off of the floor.
