If your size or engine just can't plain the bulb or spear on smaller ships is fine. Cat hulls just cost & grand design but not so all around winner. Even Cat hull can hve axe sharp V but w/more out of water high deck rounded all sea design too.
i dont like the idea you need to fold the heli blades to fit inside the garage, make a wide garage room, so they heli can be easier to deploy. how many liters can this vessel carry along? enought to refuel the yacht?
take this front & put the fat! round high deck front onto it for all seas stability but keep the sharp axe like front V but key is directing water under back 2/3rds flat tiny mini v's channels so no wet wake drag down sides & round front makes it plain, & sharp V axe cuts thru calm seas best & 3 or 4 tiny channels under flat bottom at speed joins in planning too for least drag & MOST useable interior volume & best all around design seas keeping.
If big enough ship & more important heavy enough that it is hard to plain, than the V over V front end or stealth destroyer forward spearing design rather than axe head is more efficient. front end just too damn big & heavy so u need a spear or bulb fix.
Most of front 1/3 is sharp axe head like but as the V on calm stance & seas raises up it has huge round overhanging profile giving plaining at speed useful volume even up front but most of all rough sea keeping. Nothing short of double axe head swaft design can match it for efficient all seas design but swaft HVE NO FUCK interior volume problem so they hve no range & need to b towed or stay closer to shore.
At some pnt on math & speed scale not to mention double cost CAT Hull is just more drag even if safer & more stable vs blue whale hit. Fiber glassing can't take hit & aluminum not much f-ing better. Carbon to expensive is not racing leaves only steel, which can take great hits except torpedoes military sense.

Ask all the people who built it and could feed their families because of it.
