well explained, is it possible to modify the day/night switch to work oppside direction, i install a fan in one of the control box and i only want it to run during the day and off during the night. can the relay be modified?
I need more explanation on how to adjust so that my photocell goes on when its quite dark and switches off quite early. Mine goes on very early and off very late. Its position is good in my judgment. Please help. Thanks for your good explanation. Bernard
Okay so I just want to make sure... More sun=> lower Resistance and lower resistance =>higher current... But if there is current flowing that means the light will work? But then when the sun is shining the light will work?
not exactly. More current through the photo element just means it can operate a switch/relay. If the relay is normally closed, the more current maintains the relay open and does not allow current to flow to the light. When there is no sunlight the relay can go to normally closed. Thats one way. So its an inverse function.
My outdoor light connected to a WACO Blue daylite switch, comes on even during the day momentarily...what could cause this & how can I reset it to function normally ?

@ecologicaltime hi can the day night sensor be wired from a 3 pin plug. To light up 3 lights if so what amp fuse do i need in the plug

it comes on for about 3 seconds if the power dips or if the sunlight is low. If it comes on and its not those two reasons, the unit is faulty.
My day night switch does not properly. It switches on during the day. Problem started during power cut
