@socalmtb4892 how many miles do you have on them? I have 2 sets they are crazy powerful but I get a growing bite point with fast lever pulls do yours do that?
@@thinkaboutit3011 yeah they do. I’ve noticed it as well it’s pretty strange. I’m assuming it’s cause they don’t come with the best bleed but I’m not sure…it could also have something to do with running contact adjust in a softer setting potentially
@socalmtb4892 I have been asking everyone that has them they all seem to do it. Here's what I have done, first both bikes they are on are transitions so external hoses so I installed them uncut factory bleed they both felt the same with the pump up. So then I bleed them as sram says no change I then bleed them every which way I could make up I had the bike sitting at all angles I even tried doing it with the brakes off again to spin the caliper as I tried to bleed then sram said to do a "piston massage" so take the pads out and put 2 rotors together and cycle the pistons in and out im guessing to lubricate them or free up trapped air? But it seemed to only help a little. I have at least 500 miles on my set on my spire and they still do it they broke in a bit but still bad on my tr11 they have less miles and do it a bit worse but overall nothing I have done has made it any better. I have done some research and seams like people talk about it on the forums and I have asked everyone that has posted about them and they all do it. Obviously try to bleed them and make yours work but maybe a good video idea because I assume alot of people are trying to figure it out aswell. I really want them to be good because they are so strong im 245 pounds and these are the strongest I have used
@@thinkaboutit3011 yeah it’s not a huge deal for me and I think the power trade-off is worth it. However, I have heard of people running Shimano XT levers. Maybe that fixes it
Are those mavens??
@@thinkaboutit3011 yessir
