the ratios on this box are crazy. 3000rpm at 200+ km/h. Man!
Absolutely right. I drive the same and it reaches 140 kmh @ 2000, naturally 210 @ 3000
Sehr gutes Auto! Habe ich erste Januar Woche bei Sixt in Kaiserslautern gemietet und kam kurz auf 218 Km/h und hatte auf
885 Km einen Verbrauch von 5,4l/100 Km! Werde ich bei Gelegenheit wieder mieten!
I have the prefacelift of this car, its a nice car. The way it steers is better than my previous Passat (b6), it feels a bit more dynamic compared to my old Passat b6.
I also got it remapped to 200+ hp, it drives so much better now. Stock power seems to be a bit too low to accelerate properly with these long gears.
I havent had the chance to go to Germany to try out the top speed on an empty Autobahn, but I reckon 240 on the speedometer should be possible.

für mich die perfekte Motorisierung für den B8, super sparsam, in Verbindung mit dem DSG komfortabel, aber die Fahrleistung (mEa) absolut mehr als ausreichend....und, Tacho 229km/h auf gerader Strecke ist mehr als ok, da brauchte ich mit meinem früheren Opel Insignia 210PS Diesel Ewigkeiten....
GPS wäre mal interessant gewesen. Vermutlich um die 10km/h Tachoabweichung. Und ob die Strecke wirklich gerade war, kann man auch nicht genau sagen, oder ob er Rückenwind hatte. Aber ja, etwas stärkere Motorisierungen sind häufig nicht viel schneller. Das merkt man dann mehr in der Beschleunigung und Elastizität, aber der geht schon gut nach vorne.
Ist das der Passat der unauffällig ist aber 150 PS unter der Haube hat ? xD

Das war ein Passat ohne Geräusche Dämmerung?Wie leise war bei 180kmh?Wie ist das Gefühl?
Kann gut mitreden. Habe den TDI mit 150 PS vor 1 Jahr 3-jährig gekauft. Läuft wie ein Neuer, ist mit ca. 5,2 Liter sehr sparsam und bei 180 km/h leise. Vmax. lt. Tacho locker 230....war ein superkauf.
Ist kein Sportler aber wenigsten Geräusche sind gut Gedämmt auch bei Hohen Geschwindigkeit.Ideales Auto für Dicke

Ye that used to be different with the previous TDI's. There is only bad thing about these 2.0TDI euro6 engine, the dpf regenerates every 300-350km.
Last sunday I had a 400+ km trip. It did a dpf regeneration when my trip started and back on the way home at 320km.
shame they are not making saloon (sedan) anymore.

150ps reichen. Wir fahren seit letzter Woche auch einen Passat B8 Variant 2.0 TDI Dsg :-)

Ich Frage mich ob man die zusätzlichen 40 Nm im Vergleich zu den 2015er Motoren spürt
Ich glaube schon das es stärker angefühlt hat, gefühlt war er bei 165 ps

I think that new one are bit stronger, pre facelift has 340 Nm and this one in video has 360 Nm but only on 7-speed DSG, the older generation B7 has 320 Nm with 140 hp

EA288evo in B8 facelift, EA288 in prefacelift B8 and B7 has a EA189.
consumption are lower then those of small cars like fabia,clio,corsa ... with 90-110 hp diesel engines !! i hope that trip computers dont lie so much
Consumption is alright. I manage to do 5.5l/100km overall. Thats including driving through city traffic.
I did a 430km trip last sunday, I managed to do 4.8l/100km over that trip.

@@Mr11ESSE111 I forgot to mention the speed. It was 110-120kmh due to the fact we got a dumb max speed on the highway in this country.

@@Mr11ESSE111 Nah I live in the country with people who love to hug the left lane in Germany. They even made a special combination of 2 letters for it on their license plate 🤣
P.s Dont worry, I use the most right lane, even when I drive 220km/h+
