You have some very nice cacti. Be careful not to touch the blue sheen on cacti. You can see the blue left in the deeper grooves of your Ming Thing. This is a fine coating wax called farina that protects the cactus from strong sun. Once the blue wax is rubbed off, it's gone for good. The cactus will always be green.
You have a stunning collection Marija. So many beautiful ones. I bet you get a good display of flowers when in season. That Mouse tail cactus is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing. From the garden city of India to you and your plant soldiers, have a fantastic-day. Cheers.
@@succulentlivingbymarija8872 meant to say I dont do good with Cactus. I have a Hiaworthia, one unidentified cactus and a Euphorbia. My problem is not knowing proper watering techniques
Your collection looks great. The one after the mamillaria elongata cristata is a type of melocactus (my fav). Hopefully that helps when looking for the tag. 😀
Wow thank you for sharing your amazing collection and taking the time to have names. . So interesting. How do you treat for bugs and what type of soil?do u fertilize ?
W/ the brain cactus glue problem, I would try putting some nail polish on a q-tip and rubbing it on there, and gently tugging on it w/ tweezers. The nail polish kind of dissolves the nail polish. In my experience, when some needles do get pulled off, they always recover really nicely :)
Hi Marija. I think you have too much organic soil in your cacti pots. Looks like a commercial cactus soil. I live in a cold northern climate, like you, and that soil, especially with plastic pots, will hold too much moisture during the cold winter month. You will get rot. If you keep them hot and under long hour high intensity grow lights they will be good but other wise you are looking for trouble like rot. Put them in clay pots to allow quick drying and improve the soil with lots of pumice and other high drainage content.
Was thinking about buying mammillaria elongata and echinopsis chamacereus rose quartz as of late. Your thoughts? chamacereus is that one cactus i cant seem to get right....and im still looking for tephrocactus. Had one do really well, but gifted it, and another that didnt do so well .Also, im trying to grow a mammillaria pilcayensis upside down...
Waow it's amazing collection. I love them all. Thanks for sharing.
I should meditate and deep breath when I’m stressed, but watching one of your videos works just as well.
Aw thank you! So glad! ❤️
Didn’t work out though. I got video chats, my husband talking to me and a headache. Lol. I’ll try that again.
@@normatrewhella9003 😄👍
You have a varied, well-grown collection. It is nice that the names of most of your cacti appear as subtitles.
Wow, I wear gloves anytime I touch any of my cactus. 😄 I hate getting needles stuck in my skin. You're just grabbing them with bare hands! 😮
Practice makes perfect. The few CACTUS I do have I touch barehand

Hannah Johnston do you use any regular nail polish or are you talking about nail polish remover (acetone)?

Hello marija... what soil mixtures are you using for your cactus... thank you beautiful collection
Maria Betonio I buy coco brick and mix it with perlite and cactus soil that’s not miracle grow. I also add some sand in the mixture

Angela Gorham some type of variegated opuntia... that’s why I didn’t type the name because I was not sure what’s the exact name

cactuS Mann I think they are pretty easy to care and rose quartz has amazing blooms every year.
Impressive
Do you get more pest when you have plants inside🤔
No, on the contrary. The ones that I don’t take out and don’t introduce new plants are doing the best when it comes to pests
