As a long time subscriber I've been following Anna's progress and is amazing how much she has improved, even though she had to stop for a while and come back a couple of times. Kudos to her and Nik.
those sessions with Anna are so inspiring! she makes me feel good about my game. not because she is a beginner and may lack proper technique, but because she is such a positive beginner with great attitude!
Remarkable forehand improvement. Videos teaching this student how to take high balls and balls with faster pace would be of interest. Good work by coach Nik and Anna
Anna is trying hard to improve. And she is fun to watch. That is nothing to apologize for. Nik, your content is consistently relevant and always helpful. I am an experienced tennis player. Yet, as you know, one's form can always use improvement. And your ability to break down the segments of any stroke is unmatched. Great piece on refining one's forehand. The wrist relaxation advice in the very front of this video could benefit half of all recreational tennis players, including myself.
she has definately improved a lot... i would still advise her to turn her upper body more for a smoother transition to the follow through, rather than arming the ball more on the forehand
Thanks for another great video. Speaking of which, are you planning another video like the one you did for Wimbledon with all your predictions? Please do, it was great!
Really helpful for beginners and intermediates to learn mechanics of the shot. Shame most coaches where I am would never do this and allow a student to stagnate and take their cash.
I did see you hit a couple top spin deep balls and was thinking is he testing her? trying to see if she can figure out how to hit a much harder shot? Muscle memory strikes us all! Interesting seeing her question you about those heavy shots since they are so different from the comfortable balls that bounce at knee/chest height. Thanks.
I really like how Anna forehand looks now. I would correct one thing on the take back, her right hand is straight, it would be better if she bend it at the beginning and open the elbow on the racket drop. What do you think of that?
Good explained, Nick, Anna made big progress, from the latest vids I saw from her, but she should work on not to be that straight with the upper-body during hiting, there she still looks a bit stiff 🙂 Running patterns also become better...
Nick, do you ever come to So. Calif to do a tennis clinic? I’m a big fan of your TH-cam channel and could really use your help with my strokes, especially my one handed backhand. I’m 73 and strictly play doubles. I’m a 3.5-4.0 player. Thank you.
Nick can you address the difference between "athletic movement" and "artistic movement" with Anna etc.? ... its clear that her dance training affects her athletic ability.
This is a recent video and Anna stroke and foot movement still don't look that much more coordinated to me. As a dancer I would think it would easy for her to pick up the movements
Anna sums up this sport very well. At first, she was killing it and picking up so fast. But over the last few years she’s form stayed the same and really plateaued.
Nik your ability to coach a high level WTA player like Ema and also a rec player like Anna is amazing and very cool. You’re the coach goat bro!
Thank u

I am a simple man, I see Anna and Nick progessing through this journey I hit like 🎉👌💪🎾
Ana really improved by A LOT.
Will be waiting for the high forehand tips, as I have the same problem. Thanks for the video!
Coming soon!

Her technique is sound my man. Not sure what video you’re watching. All fundamentals are there
I say the backhand she hit today is not beginner level. That was close to a worldclass backhand.
ahh Anna so good to see again :)
🙌
I'm a beginner. This channel is helping me a lot. Thank you so much!
Glad to hear it!

Finally her forehand looks good
Training for the doubles match of Anna/Ema against Safin/Shamir!

Hi Nik, where did u get your hat? 😊
Must’ve been chilly that day

nice hat Nick
It's what the people want
I miss videos of matches 4.5 and above.
Ok, nick, sorry about my last comment about your gut... please ask Anna how she is always so happy???? And then tell us her secret...

Men of culture…greetings.
Coach Nick, you should give some tips to young coaches how not to fall into traps of such attractive players as Anna😂
I found this lesson confusing

She had surgery I think
Queen Anna! Damn pickle ballers in the back…😂
People playing Pickleball on a tennis court in the background. Sign of the times...
Did she have hip surgery? Wish she can use her hip and try to loosen that stiff arm
Foot surgery
