It's a weak tone to start with, 16-18 on the Nox, add in some nails. A nice trime sounds like a 22 case. Don't overlook low tones in iron on a colonial sight. Good job again Mike !!
I think that you have probably conviced a considerable number of doubters and fence-sitters to go invest in the Legend now. Value for money? I think that, in time, Legend will eclipse Simplex in the 'Legendary for the Loot' stakes. A real 'no-brainer' in fact...What with the future up-dates programmes that NM engineers are in the process of initiating, such 'fine-tuning' will also significantly enhance this machine's 'Legend' tag potential....Over to the, "Yeh, but's" and the " My ####'s bigger than yours", comments. If your looking for just gold i would go with a gold machine. The Legend and Equinox will be ok but they make machines with a much higher frequency for gold hunting.
@@IffySignals but Nokta Gold kruzer has got 61 kHz and is recommend as typical metal detector for gold hunting and is less if about frequncy than the legend nokta-40 kHz. Something I do not understand...
@@funkyfreshzorro00 the high the frequency the better it will be on gold. The gold kruser will be better than the Legend for hunting gold. The Legend will be a better all around machine due to having multi frequency at the same time.

I posted this question on one of you other legend videos. I have a deus that I haven't used in two years. I have been using my equinox 800. I have the opportunity to trade my deus for a new legend with pro pack. I know you have tested both. Will the legend out perform my deus. I've always struggled with using the deus.
If you are struggling with it why not give the Legend a shot. Out perform no i don’t think so but you have to click with your machine. I sold the Deus 1 a couple years ago when i got comfortable with my Equinox.
@@IffySignals I really enjoy my equinox and after watching your legend videos thought Mayne its time to trade. If you still had your deus 1 and you also have the legend along with your equinox and you needed to let either the legend go or the deus go which would you keep?
Had the Deus 1, 2, Nox 800, and Legend. The Equinox slightly outperforms the Legend on relics in my mild soil but I think a year from now with updates and people figuring out settings like this it might be Equinoxes equal with far better ergonomics, build quality, headphones, and a much better selection of coils. The Equinox is great but I'm keeping the Legend instead of the Equinox. Similarly I think a year from now people will say the Deus II is an absolute killer. I'm really liking both detectors so far.
? It literally just performed great, in this same test with the 11 inch coil. IT's all about tone breaks, always was. The stock tone break it way too high. Still is after the update.

It might. Deep iron does sound pretty good with the square tones.

@@mowens1972 Well since i really didn’t like the Deus 1 or the tones i guess i would say the Deus 1. I have the Deus 2 and really like it.

I thought she said they were coming up with a update for the iron bias to fix this issue. She show it on a video her technicians showed the settings .
She said it would be a couple more weeks for that.

I thought it did really good by adjusting the tone break. This is also before they have released an iron bias update.
