The last 2 games Kola figured him out. Kola just stopped giving up any ground. There was almost no rolling to center from Kola the last 2 games. Omega had gotten used to pushing his advantage, expecting Kola to try and space but when he just stopped doing it Omega got really confused. Kola set up a line that he wouldn't let Omega cross and just slowly pushed it further and further towards ledge until there was no room left, resulting in that absolutely vicious edgeguard on Kola's second stock at 28:20. When Omega would jump over to try and reset Kola would just start pushing the line the other way. Completely dominant performance.
Kola played so well on those 2 last games, really well how he was pretty aggressive but focused and most in the parts were Omega got arsene 10/10 from both
Leo’s Joker to this day is unmatched. There’s something about his Joker’s play style that can’t be replicated. He wrote the damn book on Joker and everyone else seems like a cheap knockoff of the secret sauce.

Not only that, but it's really not even at the caliber of Leo's rusty Joker. I mean, just watch how Leo 6-0's Dabuz with Joker back at Low Tide City. Kind of puts Zackray's Joker to shame.

He also says joker is a hard character, so co maining him with Byleth would be rlly hard to keep up since he’s so precise where as aegis is just easy and broken. It makes sense why he dropped joker, but it’s still depressing. His “rusty” joker is hyper than zackrays, although Zackray did hit some cool stuff in the recent kagaribi tournament

Yes, actually if you're that aggressive and fast you can kill at 58% with f-smash ok sweet spot, and at 90 and 120% you only need f-tilt and you can kill any character
In my opinion Kola is undeniably the third best player in the world right now; it’s so fun watching him and Leo tear through these players that just abuse unskilled top characters (Aegis, Joker, PT…) or characters that are notoriously not fun to fight against (Sonic, Rob, Samus…). Watching Kola gives me hope man.

Joker, and especially PT, are notoriously harder to play efficiently than the Aegis. Plus, Roy is a " no skill ", " braindead " or whatever term you'd use swordie just like them. He even combines most of their strengths (speed, combos, frame data from Mythra and power from Pyra) and share a similar main weakness with them (his recovery), but mad cause bad biased crybabies- er, people, hate on the Aegis nowadays and not on him anymore, when they are fun to play and to fight just like he is

No one other than them, not even Sparg0 has the sheer stamina to be able to consistently dominate their opponents in the fashion they do, not to mention while maining technically impressive characters that no other top players play. Roy, Byleth… Proto is up there with his Lucina for certain, same with Maister for G&W and Sparg0 still mostly uses Cloud, plus he’s young so he’s still definitely second given what he’s managed already. Nonetheless I can get where you’re coming from, man needs a few more packed tournaments, part of the reason I’m hyped for Summit 4.
This is how smash bros should be played. None of that corner camping the entire game spamming projectiles shit. I've seen a couple of hype belmonts who don't camp before. Same with isabelle. I know someone who can do some sick ass Samus combos too. It's not the character it's the player (unless your minmin)
Uh no. Smash should be played how a character is more optimal to play. A blatant zoner designed character is not gonna win in rushdown against a character specifically designed for rushdown
The game was designed to include projectile characters, quite a lot of them in fact. I love the diversity of smash and don't even mind watching spammers if the other player is really good because it is interesting to see them space and navigate the wall at ledge
They called that early kill in game 1 of the reset an SD because it was an SD. You can clearly see that Omega mistimed his up B and could have recovered.
Omega did well but he played to predictable Kola anticipated every move and attack and capitalized on it The match up is common so it’s easy to figure out certain lines

Or idk was just having fun but idk felt very on and off brain wise like he was just farming for a clip or something. Then purposely throws just to play another game, then once he tries he completely destroys him like huh
Set 1 was sick, set 2 was weird but still cool. Looked like Kola started upping the tempo even more in set 2. Joker can't really deal with shield pressure well except disengaging, and it looked like Kola went from spacing AROUND shield to spacing ON shield and was overshooting a lot of his aerials to deal with dashback whiff punishes. When a ton of moves are being thrown out and whiffing, it feels like you have to punish them all, but if you don't give Joker the down time to work with where he can think about what to punish and how, it can be very challenging for him to keep up. Even when Omega was in the position to punish it just didn't always happen. "If you can't punish them directly, punish their next move" is really scary when there's giant disjointed hitboxes covering so much space, with tiny punish windows. Kola played the mu very well, interesting to see.

Kola feels like the gatekeeper. He isn’t a pinnacle top player. We all saw how MKLeo made it look like CEO champion Kola picked up Smash Ultimate his first day. However he can consistently win these tournaments if a lot of the pinnacle Smash killers don’t show up.
