Great chopping skills😁 my favourite part of the pork..the belly. The way you ground the geera brought back memories of long long time ago..🥲🥲

Hi Ria. I'm not a fan of pork. Would chicken breast be a good substitute? Just saw you have a geera chicken video. I'll watch that. Thanks

Because pork fat lets out its own oils you dont need to add oil to the pan also you can season the meat with some of the geera powder,,, all else look great Miss Rita. A GOOD HOT PEPPER WHILE ITS SIMMERING WOULD BE GREAT🙏yummmmy yummmy

I was never allowed to be in the kitchen while growing up especially when it was Diwali time. My sister learned to make roti and I never got to learn how to make any traditional Trini foods. My sister makes this whenever I go to Trinidad to visit. I look forward to making this dish, to at least say to her I know how to make this too! Oh, get this, my sister's name is Ria...lol....

😂 Cumin seeds, looks like fennel so be careful as tatse is quite different. Hope you do find it. I'm sure you can get it in any Indian/Asian/African shops. If you're in New York, check out Queens Market.

Good luck! If you can’t find it check my Amazon Store front under ingredients-or I usually link the specific ingredients I use on my blog. Click the ingredient under the recipe and it will take you to the product on Amazon. ❤️

No curry?? I’ve only ever seen geera cooked by currying first and then adding geera towards the end.
