I've been saying that in 2024 we need to flush this fandom of toxic solo stans .. they are giving us a bad image all round .. and the thing I absolutely don't like is they trying to bully their particular member to go solo when they know very well thats not what the members want .. they have all stated at some point or the other that they want to be BTS for as long as they are able to .. lets figure out a way to flush the fandom of all toxic people for they are not real supporters of BTS 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜💜💜💜

I agree with your comments when it comes to TOXIC solo Stan’s and TOXIC shippers. I don’t consider Stan’s Army and they don’t consider themselves OT7 Army. The solo era and ambassadorships has brought a lot of solo Stan’s to one or more members, yet they are not fans of the group. As long as they are not toxic, berate, belittle other members, their fans or Army, we don’t have to demonize all solo Stans. All of the members have obtained fans who are not fans of the group.
Now these toxic shippers are even worse. The hate campaigns against the maknae line over shipping is demonic in that they even tried to personally and professionally hurt Jimin and JK back in November with the reporting of an alleged relationship to the military. Sexualizing the members with each other instead of just focusing on their music is so beyond the scope of a fan. I like that you block and delete toxic people and their comments. I think the members will have solo careers in addition to group activities for the foreseeable future. No need to insist the members can’t have their own fanbase outside of BTS. Especially, since the color of most of the member’s music is different from the group music.
There are also toxic so called Army OT7 groups (50k+ subscribers) out there on Twitter who don’t support all of the members equally with streaming, charting support and playlists. We need to rid the fandom of all toxic people regardless of how they identify themselves.

It's so great that you addressed this issue, Nico. I haven't been an ARMY for that long, and recently I was in the comments section of an Insta reel and came across this horrible discussion between 2 solo stans saying the most awful things about the other guys to defend their own favourite. I was horrified at how mean and venomous they were being.
Please, always watch original content. Those people are not even stand any member. They are all kpop fans that use member to hate on other member. They are all BTS antis
Hateful behaviour has nothing to do with music. I'm guessing this is a reflection of who they are offline, i.e., immature and selfish. And they are probably not real fans either 👀

The best way that REAL ARMY'S can handle toxic, ignorant solo stans is by ignoring their childish rants and blocking them. Only REAL ARMY'S matter. Yes, we must stand up for ourselves and other REAL ARMY'S, then block them. Hopefully, those solo stans seek the therapy that they so desperately need.

I've been a multi fan from the start and I find it ridiculous that solo stans bully other fans because they think they're better then them

I am a newbie as of April. I was confused by the term solo stans. I thought ARMY meant you love all the boys. Yes, I have my bias, but I love them all because BTS is a group. How can you be ARMY if you are bullying other ARMY. It defeats the whole purpose of being ARMY.
Army supports and loves the 7, whoever doesn't do, isn't Army and we shouldn't consider them as such

I've been seeing a very few on twitter recently mention having a plan to deal with targeted attacks from solos/antis because they are becoming so frequent now which I think is a good idea to 1. have a system in place 2. Like you said support the one being attacked. Imo 90% of solos are actually complete antis usually from another fandom who use a bts member to hide behind and do their hateful bidding but their goal is destroy BTS' reputation, Army's reputation, and have the biggest most organize fandom in the world divided or going after each other. I've literally seen leaked private conversations where some will admit to having a solo account made for each member when they hate the whole group. And with Elon's take over changes with having blue checks make a profit off engagement it has intensified dramatically because they can now make money off their hate. Sure people can report them but sometimes it takes a long time for anything to happen and then they just make more accounts.
This, i also come a cross solo stan post on tweeter, wow...the ecoing chamber between them 😱 they not just hate the other 6 members and Army but also hate BTS as a group, they not only wish BTS to disband but also actively doing something about it

I've blocked so many accounts on Twit… I mean 'X' 🙄, especially after Bangtan started releasing their solo work. The way these people behave and think is disturbing and honestly.. I just kinda stopped using the app. I see it here on TH-cam too of course, but most of the time I don’t bother looking at the comments so it’s not as bad for me. I really do hope that 2024 is the year ARMY gets purged of these toxic solo stans. 💜

OT7 all the way. Ask me my favourite.... it depends on the day and what I feel like. I never understood solo stans or shippers. Even our sweet angels have indicated that they can't live without each other or being part of BTS. Why is it so hard for people to listen to what they say. Just my 2 cents from a new ARMY. The song that got in was Jin's Epiphany. I bawled my eyes out the first time I heard it. Then I went down the rabbit hole and they pulled me out of almost 2 years of crippling anxiety, depression and the struggle of late diagnosis of ADHD after years of struggling. 💜💜💜💜
I love how brave you are to speak out on these things that are a real issue for armys everywhere. Thank you for raising awareness. When I first got into BTS just over a year ago and I heard about army and started to learn what it was - I really was put off just like you said because the toxic ones that are not true army were so loud. Luckily I stuck with it and met some real armys that showed me that's not what all armys are like. I have also experienced bullying from toxic solo stans earlier this year and it was truly horrible, very upsetting. I did my best to stand up for myself and the people who I saw with the same views and opinions as me but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I truly don't understand why some people can't just respect someone else's opinion. Being rude and hateful is not what BTS stand for - so how can you claim to be a fan of them if you don't follow the (amazing) example they set? Thanks Nico from one real one to another Borahae 💜
I have been affected by the bullying of Solo Stan's on Twitter. It doesn't stop me from using the platform. I just think twice before commenting to anyone. They tried to belittle me and make me feel small. I just didn't give them the power to do that. Only my Creator can make me feel small. Man doesn't have that kind of power.

Thanks Nico. I hear you. I don't really care though if someone attacks or bully me as ARMY. I get hurt more when someone posts really hateful or negative things about a certain member of BTS. That hurts me and make me wonder if I belong to this fandom. I want to posts things on weverse in hopes that they would read them and know how much I love them, but then I see a dumbass comment belittling them and pray that they don't read the comments. To anyone that's ever posted negative and hateful comments about any BTS member, you are NOT ARMY in my eyes.

Thank you for addressing this, Nico. I have definitely noticed more & more of this happening the past year or so. I always find it ironic that people following an individual (if a solo stan) or a group that is all about being kind & being loving & accepting of e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e can be so... angry & downright nasty to others.
Even in defending our beautiful 7, please try to do it thoughtfully & kindly. As an international fandom, remember that people may be communicating in a language that isn't their primary language, we've all run into unfortunate autocorrect situations, or just accidentally misspelled or omited a word that entirely changed the meaning of the sentence.
Please try to educate or offer constructive criticism instead of flat out attacking someone. If you truly think BTS members are great role models, try to think how they might address the situation. Think of how many times NamJoon has (very uncomfortably) addressed some controversies. He doesn't attack the haters. He explains what he did, why he thinks it's being blown out of context, what he feels he should or shouldn't do about it & moves on... then posts a shirtless picture the next day 😄😄😄.
But seriously, online or in real life, please take a deep breath and calm yourself before getting defensive. Try to see the other person's perspective and be the person who diffuses the situation instead of adding fuel to the fire. Let's spread some purple love to everyone & lead by example!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Your post was well written but I just have to say in this gentleman's defense the one thing he said that caught my attention was, "You never know what the other person is going through in their life!" "So take that into consideration and do what you have to do and ignore them or block them then move on."
So IMHO I think he gave very good advice! More like Namjoon would of done. My grandmother would of said, "put it down to their ignorance"!
I really think this solo era, however beneficial it's been for the guys themselves and how much it's given them a chance to shine out as individuals... has been a pretty difficult one for ARMY. As defined by 'those who support all seven members'. A lot of people have joined the fandom because of a single members' music, and simply don't 'know' BTS as seven; they only know the guy who first got their attention. So we need to run a kind of education campaign with newcomers and urge them, kindly and politely, to check out and support all the guys.
Apart from that, it's been an absolute toxic playground for the solo-antis, a chance to turn ARMY into a 7-way battleground. My tactic, when I see a solo running off at the mouth about their precious 'bias', is to tell them, calmly, that they are being very disrespectful to their 'bias' and that if they genuinely cared for and respected bias, they wouldn't be doing that. (Like some people who kept insisting JK ought to leave BTS and go solo; I reminded them that he doesn't WANT to, he's said so, and that should be the end of any discussion about it.) And when they get abusive- because they always do- I tell them I'm muting them because they're simply haters; only haters would listen to what their 'bias' is saying and then completely refuse to pay any attention to it, or try to put a personal spin on it, or even say 'Well, he's only saying that, he doesn't mean it.' And then I mute them.

I remember when they announced their "hiatus," I was watching another reactor and mentioned that it was like gardening. You have 7 plants in a pot & and eventually, you need to separate them to allow the individual roots to grow stronger. Once they're all stronger, healthier, & flourishing, they can be replanted together again

The advice I could give Armys is we should stop engaging in a long argument with Antis and solos. We can defend our fellow Armys and Bts but we should also refrain from going as low as them. And by that, I meant insults and doxing. I've seen antis and a couple of solos dox Armys and I've seen some in our own fanbase do the same to them. Honestly I'm not saying I don't feel a sense of relief when Armys get a clapback. but I also worry when it goes to a certain extent that it's become too toxic. Those keyboard warriors are unimportant people and engaging in a long argument with them who's purpose is to be a hater is useless. Just block and report. Especially report. We leave those big solos (That are attacking Bts and Armys) and antis accounts that constantly spread misinformation and derogatory words towards the Tannies for too long.
Also thank you Nico for spreading awareness regarding this situation about solos. It's hard. Thankfully I wasn't that into interacting with people on social media so I got out of that experience earlier on when I was still new to the fandom. It's a shocking experience for Baby Armys who still have no Army friends yet.
Totally agree with you. As a long term army, I just don't get these toxic solos. Even their faves always mention the importance of other members, but they just refuse to listen to it. So, what is the use of stanning then if they don't listen to their faves?

I found BTS almost 2 years ago and definitely consider myself an ARMY/OT7. I am 46 and had never in my life fanned a music artist/group until BTS, so to some degree I am still learning how to be a fan. It didn’t take long for me to start seeing the solo stans and bullying. I still just don’t understand how anyone could not love and adore each member, I mean they are all so sweet humble and amazing artists for their own reasons (and like you said, BTS would not be BTS without all 7 members). And I definitely don’t understand the shipping 😏 I find it weird. I will admit that at first I would get very defensive when I would read something negative about any of the guys and though I would give a mature but sarcastic reply, I had to start ignoring all the negative because I was getting very upset all the time, so I just started telling other Army’s that what others think does not matter and to not give those hateful people the time of day or satisfaction of upsetting us. When it comes to solo stans or those that consider themselves OT7 but are ok with speaking negatively about any of the other members for arguments sake or to defend their favorite is completely gross, immature and should not consider themselves an Army and go stan a solo artist. I will never understand that kind of mindset. Thank you Nico for everything that you do, setting people straight and for loving and respecting the guys the way that you do.
I love all the guys...in a different way! Each one touches my heart differently. My grandma had 7 kids ... she loved each one. Each one was unique. Different relationships with them. Does a mom love their children differently. Yes, in a way. So we can feel about our guys the same. I think toxic is different then solo stands

Whenever we encounter these toxic Stans, on whatever platforms we see them, we should call them on their hateful comments and just wrong thinking! I like to point out that all of the members were like diamonds in the rough - yes, they each had innate talents, but it took Bang PD and the UNIQUE incubator of these 7 individuals, working to grow and improve and excel; their COLLECTIVE pushing and pulling, along with every drop of blood, sweat and tears they each contributed to form them into the DIAMONDS we know as BTS! It ridiculous to think that the powerful artists we see today, would be who they are had they NOT had the forces and power of the group dynamics to sharpen and polish their raw talent.
And the ONE that they claim to love so much, deeply loves and respects every one of the members, and would hate and dismiss any so-called Stan that takes pleasure in throwing shade and hatred onto his fellow brothers and bandmates.

I saw a comment on a reaction to the Taemin Suchwita episode that said they had always disliked bts basically assuming they were like the fandom which appears very toxic much of the time. That episode showed them how bts actually is, which they thought was great, and they were going to dive in. Some army forget that how they behave affects how others view bts. I’ll be honest, I’ve said since I started falling down the rabbit hole a few years ago that the one thing that could make me fall away from bts is the fandom. As you mentioned, notice I do not call myself army.
What kills me about solos is that they are talking crap about their fave’s brothers! How can you say you’re a fan when you’re disgusting about their chosen family? I’ve stepped in a few times when some were going too far. I spent a lovely evening reporting dozens of toxic idiots in a thread. That was kind of cathartic, I can’t lie. Solos are trying to rip army apart. Half of them aren’t even really fans and are doing this for the sole purpose of breaking army.
I've been seeing the most toxic solo stans in this year specifically because they released solo projects of course and that made these solo stans give more opportunities to humiliate the whole group except their biases and a lot of shippers. And personally for me most of them are Taekook shippers. And you can check every reaction vedios related to BTS ,and you can still see the hate and disgusting things that's been said about each member by every solo stans and I'm so freaking disappointed when i see that not a single Army even tried to say anything against the solo stans. If the reaction is about a one member than in comments the whole comment section is hating certain members by comparing their records and achievements and they're literally mocking other Army's by saying without their fav. BTS is nothing and other ridiculous things just to start a fight with other Army's and unfortunately they're successful with their tricks. All i can see in every comment section of every single BTS reactions is the most low grade fights between Army and solo stans and Army's with different biases and fake Army's who are indirectly downgrading one member specifically showing their clear hatred towards that member. And most of the time I've seen that some Army's too mix with the solo stans because basically they have same biases, so rather than stopping them they just said yes to everything they said by the toxic solo stans because they're enjoying that their biases being praised right now. And about your topic, if by any chance an Army tries to stop these stupid solo stans, the whole group of Army's weather they are solo stans or haters or antis of some members and fake Army's attacks that one Army so bad ,i mean wheni see those comments it was heartbreaking, they not only attack that one Army but they attack the members or most of the time some specific members by saying the most disrespectful things about them but again no one tried to save that Army. If the vedio is about one member because of their birthday vedios or just random vedio , if you see the comment sections you see only solo stans flooding the whole comment section by overly praising their favs. And if the vedio is about the bond between the group or 2 members than shippers and solo stans said ridiculous things like the members hate each other or to prove that their ship is true ,they say that they're are jeouls and they are negative towards each other and again no one stops them or report them . After seeing all this i have to take a break from BTS related contents because all i can see is hate and toxicity everywhere. I agree with you, but if you are talking about ships, all ships are toxic, and jikook shippers are the most toxic, and all ships are probably because you are jimin stan. You do not see the hatred that jikookers spread against Taehyung and Jungkook as well. They are exposed to hatred and rumors all the time.. all shippers are toxic, and if you are an army You should tell all the shippers because you know that Taehyung, Jimin and the members are getting hate and you are an army and you know all ships are toxic So do not ignore jikook shippers and thank you for your comment. But, on a serious note, more reactors need to speak out on solo stans attacking those with various and different opinions that they determine to be negative about their favs in the comment section. There is no way anyone that calls themself a fan can listen to and understand the lyrics to the majority of BTS songs and still chose negativity and hate. Their songs are about love for yourself and others, respect for yourself and others, and coming together as a community. How anyone thinks that any member would applaud the actions of some as support for them is delusional and it's sad!!

If I may put my thoughts on this topic here (bcs I don't have anywhere else to).. For me 2023 has been the most uncomfy time online as an ARMY (even considering the 2016-2018 eras) bcs of these solos. I used to be angry everytime I see them throwing names and accusations at any of the boys (some even appears as ARMY, like how can you put tiny 7s on your bio but talk shit abt 1 or some of them??). But now I can't help but just pity them and their useless fight with themselves. What a stressful life filled with hate. 😢 And I'm just very concerned for new ARMYs that don't know much yet and get lost in solo spaces unknowingly. I really hope we'll find a way to deal with this issue this year. 🥲
Yes, we need to find/seek out the newcomers, the baby ARMYs, and help them get a good understanding of BTS as a whole and of the downsides of the fandom.

Definitivamente muchas de esas personas se hacen pasar por Armys para generar división en el fandom, ya está comprobado, y otras caen en las narrativas de esos supuestos fans y ahí es donde todo se complica, por eso lo primordial es ver el contenido oficial de los chicos (documentales, entrevistas, programas, etc), pero completo, no pequeños clips que se pueden manipular para hacer creer cosas que no son, y lo principal, confiar en los chicos, no en lo que cualquier usuario de una red social diga. even from the beginning of my BTS journey (2014) I always see solo stans as BTS haters. I don't participate in a lot of discussion/arguments because it's just healthier for me - but when I do - I asked them if they can say what they are saying about BTS and the other members to their "fave"... because I'm pretty sure they'll get what's coming. BTS members always see themselves as 'BTS' and will take any hate towards BTS as hate towards them. that's what I always remind myself too.
Solo Stan’s are the worst kind of fan’s….the fact that they only Stan one member of a group and than start badmouthing the rest of them is what makes this fandom so toxic and on top of that they start to bully the real fans…i always say that whoever is in charge of this fandom needs to start weaning out this toxic fans or do something like give them a warning and if they don’t comply with the rules they need to be thrown out of the fandom or have their account suspended just like TH-cam or any other social media platforms do with members….other than that I just ignored them because what they think or say is insignificant to me and if we get into a he said she said with them they’ll think that they have some kind of power over the rest of us.
I went on a reporting spree once on weverse because there was a mass attack on a young Army who had said something quite innocent that was taken way out of context. The responses were vile, harsh, and sometimes violent. And all 100% unnecessary. Then those exact same users would post directly to the member in a loving way. It was quite distressing. We also have to remember a couple of things - tone is implied by the reader in written communication, so it's easy for things to get way off track; and in an international fan base there are plenty of folks that are using translation apps and that's a whole other layer of confusion sometimes. As long as there's no disrespect involved I try to keep those elements in mind when something sounds a little off. But when it's bold faced negative, or comporting yourself in a way that our fellas would not want, there's a no tolerance policy. We need to be a fandom they are proud of. The saddest Live moment I ever saw was when RM said, "you've changed" in reaction to some comments. Love one, Love Seven.
My Mother always told me if you have nothing nice to say about anyone then don't say it at all. I am clearly not in the Army but I believe in BTS. If I could afford to see them in person I would go in a heartbeat. There music and voices do bring me joy. So real Army I purple you💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I was bullied. I had to block everyone and go private for awhile. No one stood up for me. I was very disappointed

I was defending army on a post, and a solo stan told me to stfu ! I had to Google the acronym.👵🏻 blocked them and that toxic account that supported that garbage. They are angered because HYBE BigHit Music will not take a stand in the Palestine/Israel War and the enlistment of certain members. I'm standing on the edge and God had to pull me back. Anger and engaging is never good. I appreciate you and give you that respect.

ALSO….this new influx of hateful ppl, are also from other fandoms masking as ARMY. We know who we are and we can recognize non ARMY behavior. You can’t mask that, and if you don’t adhere to ARMY standards…..you WILL be isolated. PERIOD.

It's true...I deal with such hypocrite solostans on a daily basis...I am multi stan...and feel really bad...for the artists and myself at times....
I remember I never use to refer to myself as Army because I viewed army as toxic but I have grown to accept that BTS loves Army and I love BTS so I am Army… but to protect my mental health I stay away from the toxicity … I don’t engage with solos or even those who pick fights with other artist … I block and move on and keep my timeline a safe space … I don’t follow no one blindly and people can have their opinions but spreading hate is not what I align myself with…
Petty is the optimal word. Twitter is wild out there between ARMY, solos and antis disguised as ARMY- people are overtly nasty with their opinions with the sole purpose of upsetting others and causing turmoil. I know a lot of these abrasive accounts are kids and teenagers but some are grown adults too which is concerning.
Real solo fans does not bash others. They show support to all and ignore the toxic ones. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I feel like when more of us speak up and call out the hate, the haters are more likely to back down and hush up. Not so long ago, I ran into a small channel that was expressing an opinion I disagreed with. So I knew mine wasn't going to be a very popular opinion, but I expressed it calmly and politely- and got quite promptly attacked by multiple regular watchers. I was not surprised when they were totally unreasonable and immediately resorted to namecalling and such, I'm cynical enough to have expected that.
In among them there was a single comment that said 'I agree with you!' but what really caught my attention was the likes. I only expected one, from the person who agreed, but to my surprise I got multiple likes. And I felt a little bad for the people who left them, because they were willing to show silent support, but they were obviously afraid to have those attackers come for them, too. I thought, 'You know, if you all would speak up and say this personal-insult dogpile behavior is unacceptable, maybe there'd be less of it.'
Then again, maybe not. Maybe calling solos and haters on their behavior makes them more likely to double down on it. Maybe the best option is simply not to engage at all... but while ignoring them makes them go away *for us*, they are still spreading their antipathy/obsession for others to see. It's a problem-!
Maybe it’s me being naive, but whether it’s KPOP or an American boy group, I’ve never understood toxic Stan’s. Why is it so hard to support members projects individually, but still supporting them as a group. We all grow and change and solo projects are just a part of that

I've been at that point, too- the hate from antis and solos seems much worse now than it did when I first joined up in 2020, and I have wondered why I stick around.
And then I come to channels like this, or Boracity, or Jose Ochoa, or others- thought-provoking and honest and compassionate- and I say, Ah, yeah. That's why.

I will be forever and always OT7 but honestly when I first started to get interested in BTS I could have easily walked away after seeing a lot of comments and nasty things that people were doing on the platforms, but I realised that they weren't what BTS stand for and they aren't and never will be Army or even fans. I don't understand the hate that people have for BTS, the members individually and Hybe. I will always support and stand up for BTS, Army and also Hybe, Please don't forget Hybe in your thoughts, because if we didn't have Hybe/Big Hit then we wouldn't have BTS and that's a fact.
I believe there are solo stans attacking ARMY but I also believe it is other fandoms pretending to be solos to take down big ARMY accounts on platforms as well. Recently, I was attacked on Twitter by an individual using a member’s name as part of their ID but him/her was only following another group. After I told him/her off..I was blocked. 😂😂

I am 100% OT7. I LOVE ALL THEIR MUSIC. And stream it all. I dont understand why so much hate. They probably wouldn't even have the memebers that is their favs if it was for the whole BTS. JHOPE AND JIMIN were dancers Jin was in Acting school and Suga just wanted to write and produce. V went there on a whim for a friend etc. They are litterly the best group on the planet and people wanna pick sides it's crazy but that's what solo stans are. What would they of done if BTS didn't exist. I love watching you guys so much. You keep it so real and I agree with you 100%. Every single member beings something to the table. On and off music and dance. Genuine human beings.

There are so many immature and spiteful people who use their onlone annonimity to be abusive to others. I wonder how they might act if face to face was reality. They might not be so loudmouthed We need to echo the compassion, love and acceptance our boys have worked hard to build. Childish and immature definitely, they need to kerb their jealousy and work on being better in themselves instead of spreading hatred and causing trouble.

Its like. I have been a K-pop fan since 1999 with Shinhwa. I’m so confused as to what I’m supposed to do. Do they expect me to stop liking these original groups that got me into K-pop? It’s crazy.
I love BTS and ARMY. Not the toxic ones who jump down your throat. This world is crazy and my safe place is BTS. I am Army and have nothing but love and respect for positive influencers who respect BTS. I'm OT7 all the way and do not know how you can say you are Army and be hateful towards the other members. I am thankful that I do not go on Social media and look for a fight. I am much older, Silver Army and I just do not have time for those stupid games. BTS makes my life happy. I do not know if I will ever get to see them in person but watching your channel and those few others continue to make me happy. Thank you.
Ok, this might seem controversial but please hear me out. There is a big difference between toxic solo stans and having a bias and loving all 7. I've been so disgusted with all these fan wars (and SHIPPING) that sometimes, I just want to turn away from BTS. However, I believe that some of the problem stem from OT7 fans, too. There are legitimate issues/concerns that fans of a specific member will raise every now and then. But because the voice comes from someone with a bias, the issues are immediately dismissed and the voice is automatically labeled as "toxic solo stan." I recognize that some people are just hateful and toxic, thinking that by dragging other members, their favorite will shine brighter. However, I also believe that many people who raise legitimate concerns don't start out as toxic. They become super protective of their faves and gets drawn into toxic groups because they feel dismissed, discounted, made fun of, referred to as crazy and "not real Army." I think that one way to heal the fandom is to recognize legitimate concerns and actually look into what the noise is about. That way, we can help celebrate people who have favorites back into a happy and safe OT7 fandom by making them feel heard and not ostracized and ridiculed. And yes, if all they want to do is berate other members, then the right thing to do is just delete them.

I am certain that the members of BTS love each other like brothers and it hurts their hearts when people are mean to their brothers. Purple brothers and sisters, let's think about how does it feel when somebody is not kind to a member of our family. Let us remember that what keeps BTS together is the love for each other. In Korean, solo stans who are actively hateful towards other members are called 악개 - akgaes. It's short for "akseong gaeinpaen" (악성개인팬), "malicious individual fan."
we should all remember how k-army, whenever BTS appeared on stage, shouted out the members' names: from the leader then from the oldest to the youngest member of the band. Going solo is going to encourage solo fans due to the very nature of the debut. Many people have been introduced to the members due to their solo debut activity. In no way, shape, or form, however, should anyone, whether you like one member only or all seven, no one should speak, post, or share derogatory, demeaning, or divisive (I'll include the 3 Ds) content about the members or regarding the members. Personally, I think it's not reasonable to say, like all 7 members, if I've only heard one member perform or a song by that one member resonates with me. These are just my thoughts, expressed kindly.
I applaud you wholeheartedly! Thank you for blocking these negativ individuals. From the moment I discovered BTS and being new to K-pop at that time I really do not understand fan wars, solo stans or haters. Also, I feel that this something the BTS members would neither like nor support whether it is stanning individual member or fighting with fans of other k-pop groups. That is not what they send out in the world.
Let's take BTSs behavior as a guideline for our behavior, be mindful and positive and appreciative of each other.
