1080° Silver Storm (GC) - Intro [Japanese 1080° Avalanche]

Intro of the (kinda rare) Japanese version of 1080° Avalanche, which is called 1080° Silver Storm. Note that the intro has slight differences with Avalanche's.

The only difference I could find between this and Avalanche is that Raul Alvarado is named Kemen Vazquez in Avalanche.

One thats in the actual gameplay is that Akari has an actual Japanese actress and thus speaks Japanese instead of English

In the Japanese version instead of frosty winterborn for Ricky, its called Yuki Daruma a tiny snowman
And for Tara instead of the moose special character its a panda bear name shin shin

These games were back when Nintendo still cared about the core gamer. As much as I would love those games, I think Nintendo doesn't care anymore. I would love to have all the games mentioned here, including one called Geist. The game was pretty fun and the ideas behind it really seemed like it deserved a sequel, but since it probably has a very small fan base, seems unlikely.

Add Excitebike to the list. The N64 version is one of the best arcade motocross games I have played.
I also love that Wave Race and 1080 shared the same characters.
