    What a lovely fish room! This was really interesting, thank you. 😊 I was particularly surprised to see the Betta with Guppies as I was lead to believe male Betta wouldn't tolerate Guppies because they look so alike.

    I enjoy Kashia's videos and her fishroom. Thanks for sharing. I want to get a small cave dwelling cichlid to go in my 33 long with my similis or my oscillatis. I just haven't figured out which one yet or how to source them. My plan if for one end of the 33 long to be a rock pile with lots of nooks and crannies. The other end would be for the shellies. Do you have a recommendation? Thanks.

      The only way to do it and keep it stable is to use RO and remineralize.

    Did water change today, about 50 percent. Stopped using ph7, and my normal ph is about 6.8
    Went outside, came back and saw my fish sick.
    At an angle and a male guppy completely vertical, unable to swim. Hes at the bottom now, i think he is dead but idk
    The 2 female guppies are still, at the top and at a slight angle.
    What is happening???
    The male guppy i saw today had wierd colors. Brownish colors on his top of his body like on top of his head. Now, his fins are white from the middle.
    The corydoras (albino) have been wiling out. Swimming against the glass aka surfing, etc.
    Please help.
    Do i have to start over??

      Check water parameters - sounds like high nitrites? pH probably isn't enough to cause such a rapid decline.

    • @rifraf6135
      @rifraf6135 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PrimeTimeAquatics thanks for the help. The fish are back to normal now, wierd. It was during night to i think they were sleeping? . I think ill go to petco near me and get a pair of b rams that i told u about and ill also get some tetra test strips 6 in 1. About the nitrates, i had done a water change that day.

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics
      @PrimeTimeAquatics  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ben Carroll If it’s just a pair they can raise them. The adult rams will probably eat shrimp though. I try to leave a night light on for egg layers so they can see the snails coming too. 😀

      I keep my beta with Galaxy Rasbora. He leaves them alone, mostly.
      He is getting on a bit now and so doesn't move much and so the Rasbora fill up the space nicely and as a bonus, they breed for me which is very cool...

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics
      @PrimeTimeAquatics  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Zachary360 I have been able to do it in the past, but it depends on the betta.

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics
      @PrimeTimeAquatics  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mickey Pius I think the tanks she has are appropriate for the fish that are in them. Most are turned side ways so we’re looking at them from the side view.

      I rotate fish once I breed them..or grow out fry/juveniles and move them to bigger tanks. I'm pretty limited in tank size due to being in an appartment though..so I'm trying to work with within my limitations.
