Who cares? For a cruiser, comfort is far more important than speed. Without seeing the underwater profile, you can't predict sailing performance accurately but she has a long waterline. You probably wouldn't get root waterline in feet x1.3 in knots but you'd certainly get over root waterline ×1. That would equate to 7 knots or so. That equates to around 200 miles/day which is a healthy passage making speed.
Love these boats. They are what a sailing boat is supposed to look like.
Beautiful classic blue water cruising sailboat ⛵️! Mike from Missouri
Beautiful in a powerful stout manner.
And that wood work truly puts all those yachts with the hyper shine and gloss to shame.
I guess I am kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good place to watch newly released series online?
@Zane Turner flixportal :D
@Yahir Theo thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) I appreciate it!
@Zane Turner you are welcome :D
Absolutely stunning piece of art this boat! Beautiful!👍
Great to see her under sail. Brings my sailing days to life once again
Boy, you can tell those sails haven't been up in awhile!! A lot of resto work needed, but at $95,000 seemed a fair price.
a facelift will be more than $100k
What a great sailboat.
Beautiful classic cruising sailboat ⛵️! 😘⛵️😀 Mike from Missouri
Truly A dream boat.
Epic music...epic boat...epic owners!
True blue water cruising sailboat
I sailed a 51 foot Formosa from Madera Beach Fl to Huston TX that looked a lot like that. Nice boat.
How many sailors do you need to run it? Coastal crusing, Bahamas etc. not ocean crossings. Assuming a non-sailor or auto pilot can hold a heading
@@humbertojimenez3475 there where 4 of us that made the gulf crossing me my wife and another couple that I picked up local here in Clearwater fl
William garden designed some sexy boats in his day. This one is gorgeous
I found my next boat .... Great job on the video! Love the boat!
Хорошая яхта! Напоминает Формозу.
Nice boat 👍👍👍👍
Man that's a nice boat
Beautiful
Spectacular vessel. Has this boat been surveyed? Have the decks been recored? What about the tanks, black iron?
What a beautiful boat and will only improve wiith some work.
Looks nice if I buy it will own help me sail it back to Perth
The owner will not be able to help with the delivery I wouldn't think. But we can ask.
Sadly I an not able to fly to Australia to buy😩
This looks so similar to Formosa Ketch 51
can you tell me the price please,
This classic sold for $95,000 AUD
Is this vessel still for sale ?
About to be listed again with VicSail Westernport
a lot of restoration work needed...
tried to email you for details . but bouncing back, Reg
That looks exactly like a 1980 Formosa 51
Designed by the same designer I believe. William garden, also built in the same factory from memory.
There were quite a few boats built on this hull design (and mold) and in a few different lengths. It is a time tested design.
Great if you want the slowest boat in the ocean
