I know what you mean. I live under the eastern departure corridor for Addison airport in Texas and there is a P180 that frequently flies over, sometimes more than once per day.

Great narration on this one! As a teacher I always try to "verbalize my thought process". It makes it easier for my students to learn. Also...Thanks for pointing out the instruments in front of the right seat so we can better follow along as to what the aircraft is doing.

F4U Corsair. My absolute fave WWII aircraft. Not as fast as say, a P-51, but extremely maneuverable. Was able to go head to head with Zeros as I recall.

You make flying that airplane look easy. I remember flying VFR in a 152 being number 10 downwind for FRG during my flight training. Almost had a midair with a corporate jet that day. THAT was very busy airspace.

Yeah my bad. Seeing that airplane during our taxi to the gate was a highlight to my vacation lol.. I should have fan rushed him at signature lol. Jk.

Loved the Zeppelin's "Misty Mountain Hop" at the beginning.
Nice shortcut ya used to change angle of attack with autopilot engaged. Also no more loud scream coming from disengaging autopilot. Your getting to know that TBM very well SteveO

Indirectly, and I use that term to accurately acknowledge this is not a "training" video, I do learn a lot from flying experiences such as these. I call it an indirect/educational tool to learn about the "rhythm" of IFR flying from point A to point B. Everything about IFR flying is a process. . .communication with ATC, using external tools to assist with easing the pilot workload, always staying ahead of the airplane , and for me most. . .thinking out loud as you're flying. Your utilization of camera presentations is awesome. The ease in which you present material is impressive. Yes, I always prefer the blue waters of the Bahamas, but hey. . .the Florida coastline even with clouds is a great Plan B. Great video.

Hi Steve, I love watching all your videos, you have inspired me to go to flight school, it's always been a mystery but through your videos it's a new world unfolding, I totally get it now and want to be part of it, I've spent the last 15 years as a Master Mariner, what was I thinking, 15 knts vs 270 kts, bring it on. Oh and I love all the music clips as well.
