White Manna and White Mana (JC) are not affiliated. Waaaaay back in the day they were, but not anymore. The sliders are different too. Mana (JC) doesn't use potato rolls and their onions are chopped instead of sliced. I like Manna better.

Ordered a sack ..put it in my trunk on the way back home and I could still smell those onions!
Should also point out, the guy at the grill only takes your burger order. If you want anything else, there is a girl that handles that.

White Manna burgers are good for what they are but I doubt that a place like that would survive if it just opened today without the history and the hype. Too many people would not have the patience for the ordering process and the limited parking there. That sign board says a cup of pickle is $3.50! And they ran out? Unbelievable.

I grew up in NJ for first 25 years of my life. It took me about 10 years living outside of tri state area to see how abrasive we are to each other. I got no problem with it.

Didn't you say the people at Wegman's were helpful and polite? Wasn't it the one in Bergen County that you went to? So there are exceptions even in NJ. The further away you get from the cities, the friendlier people are (or at least act friendly in customer service settings). Go grocery shopping in places like Sussex, Warren, Cumberland counties and it's a different vibe than you get in Bergen, Hudson, Passaic counties.
